  • After three years of having a nanny, we felt it was time to transition our daughter into a more social environment. We toured and met with so many places, but nothing truly felt like the right fit, until we found String Bean. From the moment we walked in, we knew this was the place for our independent, strong-willed daughter. String Bean has created an environment where she can show up as her true self every single day. The teachers are incredibly accepting, nurturing, and genuinely caring. Their empathy and dedication to each child is everything we could have hoped for in a learning environment. We feel so grateful to be part of this community and couldn’t recommend String Bean more.

  • Our daughter has been attending String Bean for over two years, and I can confidently say it has been one of the most meaningful experiences for both her and our family. The safe, nurturing environment created by the owner is truly unmatched. The teachers thoughtfully weave nature into learning, planting the seeds for a bright and prosperous future. As she prepares to transition to public school for kindergarten this year, we know how much she’ll carry forward from her time here. Even so, we plan to stay connected and visit whenever we can. String Bean Farm School has given us more than just an education—it has given us lifelong friendships with both the teachers and other families.

  • My youngest has been at String Bean for over two years, and we are so thankful for this place! He has learned so much during his time there. The teachers are kind, patient, and fun. They not only focus on early academics, but also on developing social/emotional skills and a love of the outdoors. I feel so lucky to have found this community - this includes the String Bean staff and the other parents as well. I highly recommend, and will miss them when my kiddo moves on!

  • We moved to the area unexpectedly and finding a pre-school for my daughter was my primary worry. Little did I know that finding String Bean would end up being such a blessing. My daughter is so happy there, has grown academically and is more than ready for kindergarten, and we love how much time she spends outside. Yesterday while walking into school she found a worm on the ground and her teacher happily told her to bring it in to feed the classroom newt! We’ve found it to be the perfect blend of academics, play, social development and time in nature. We feel very safe and secure there. Additionally, the other parents at string bean are wonderful and it’s the primary way my family has made community and friends as we transitioned to the area. We are so grateful!

  • When we transitioned to String Bean over two years ago and it has been an amazing experience for our family. The staff are caring, kind, and do a wonderful job at creating an enriching learning environment for the kids. Communication is friendly, easy, and clear. We love the focus on the outdoors and the amount to time they get to spend outside. We feel really lucky to have found such a special place for our kids during their early years.
