Edit April 2026: We decided to move our kids to a different center. Things have been good until 2026. The center has been dealing with a rapid teacher turnover due to lack of resources (understaffed, lack of training etc). We also learned that a lot of Michigan state regulations are not followed at ALC. Our son was neglected (left in the crib awake for a long time, teachers on their phones, we had to send many reminders for his bottle that was forgotten, etc). After we brought things up with management, the issue was discussed with the staff. After a while a teacher started retaliating against our son. Our daughter had a pretty good experience until this year. New kids with behavioral issues were brought in and the center is not equipped for this. Teachers are constantly understaffed, they are not trained or experienced to deal with bad behaviors. We believe our daughter was not given the learning experience this center promises due to the teachers being busy with certain children. We feel disappointed in how the center has been responding to issues parents bring up. We were also very concerned when 10+ good teachers left this daycare within 2-3 months this year. Do some research through LARA reports, parents feedback, reviews and even teacher reviews (if teachers are happy and love their jobs your kids will thrive). Shoutout to ms Trin and Ms Jessica who have been amazing teachers throughout the years. -‐-------‐----------------------------------------------------- 2023 review: Teachers and staff are amazing and genuinely care about our kids. The center is equipped with learning tools and activities for every age, good safety protocols are set and followed, and the environment is very inclusive. Special thanks to Ms. Trinity, Ms. Jessica, Ms. Tammie, Ms. McKenzie and Ms. Ali!
Andra HoughApr 14, 2026My 2 and 3 year olds have been well taken care of at adventures for over a year now. My 9 month old has been here for 7 months now. There are most definitely some amazing teachers still at the center even tho some good ones have left. I’ve had a lot of interaction with Jessica, Trinity, Anthony, Danielle ,Ryan and liz. THEY ARE ALL AMAZING with the kiddos. Hailey just took over the center…. She seems to be doing well so far. I’ve been talking to her more and more and she seems to care about what I have to say.
Brittany HMar 14, 2026Before considering working here or bringing your child here, I strongly encourage you to read the reviews and check the LARA reports. The biggest issue at this center is the leadership from the director, Haley Click. In the three months she has been there, she rarely leaves her office and does not step into classrooms to support staff or see what is actually happening day to day. A director should be present and involved with both staff and children, but that is not been what I have observed. My own children were injured while attending, and the lack of supervision and leadership was extremely concerning to me. When leadership is not present and engaged, it directly affects the environment and support staff have in the classrooms.. Instead of being present and actively managing the center, she spends most of her time in the office. Writing thank-you notes is not the same as actually being involved, helping staff, and ensuring children are safe. Parents trust childcare centers with the safety and care of their kids. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend doing your research, reading the reviews, and looking at the LARA records before enrolling your child here.
Lisa CookMar 11, 2026Adventures Learning Center in Caledonia has gone downhill significantly since the previous leadership left and the new director, Haley, took over. Strong childcare centers are built from the top down. Leadership sets the tone for the entire building. When a director is present, experienced, and involved, staff feel supported and the children benefit. Unfortunately, that does not seem to be happening here right now. While Haley seems like a nice person, being nice alone does not make someone the right fit to lead a center. There appears to be a lack of experience, involvement in the classrooms, and follow-through when concerns are raised. Staff turnover has become a major problem. Teachers are leaving constantly, and the center cannot seem to keep consistent staff. After the decision to merge two centers together, many of the strong and experienced staff members left, and the stability of the center has continued to decline. Children need consistency and familiar caregivers, and that is becoming harder to provide when staff are constantly changing. Another concern is how quickly children are being sent home over normal behavior issues instead of working through situations in a developmentally appropriate way. There have also been instances where children have come home with marks and no clear explanation of what happened, which should be taken seriously and addressed. It also feels like ownership may not be seeing the full picture of what is actually happening inside the center. If they are only hearing positive reports, they may not realize how much things have changed. Many people who have been around this center for a while know that when experienced leaders like Maggie and Ali were involved, things ran more smoothly and staff felt supported. If ownership truly wants to see this location improve, they should seriously consider bringing back strong leadership that understands the staff, the families, and how to run a childcare center the right way.
Nikki ChamberMar 6, 2026They would rather terminate a family's care than admit a staff error. This organization prioritizes liability protection over child safety and parent partnership. If you expect transparency and professional standards, this is not the place for your child.
Shanequa roebuckMar 6, 2026I am sharing this as a warning regarding the management culture at Grow With Us Ventures, LLC (Adventures Learning Center). Rather than investigating reports of improper care objectively, the administration (Victoria) engaged in medical speculation and deflecting responsibility. It is dangerous for a childcare provider to prioritize staff convenience over honest communication with parents regarding a child's well-being. Furthermore, the leadership actively engages in making it nearly impossible to reach ownership when grievances are not addressed at the local level. When I finally made contact with the owner, Vonda Dally, the response was not a commitment to safety or investigation, but a retaliatory 'offer' to terminate our care relationship. This organization chooses to push families out rather than address their own failures in standard of care and communication. I strongly advise families to look for a provider that values transparency and partnership, as those values are nonexistent here.
