Staff in development center lack knowledge of basic social behaviors of young children in their care. It has been witnessed on multiple occasions at pick up and drop off the staff are busy socializing and not paying attention to or engaging with the children. It has been witnessed that staff in center escalate situations that cause upset to students instead of working to bring a peaceful and calm resolution that supports a healthy learning environment. Instead of finding ways to redirect a child’s behavior the staff picks and pokes at kids and pushes them until they have bigger behaviors causing huge disruptions in the classroom as well as psychological harm to some children.

After staying home with my kids for years, it was very nerve wrecking to enroll my youngest into daycare for the first time for our family. The center made the transition so easy. We feel so good about sending our one year old to a center that keeps her engaged with a variety of activities. She goes in without a second thought now and I feel good about all the updates I get on her day while she is there. She consistently has the same staff in her classroom but it feels like no matter who greets us at the center, they know her by name.
Katie MoonFeb 20, 2026Aldersgate has been worth every penny. We receive constant pictures and updates on how our kids are doing. The preschool program is incredible. Each child is given special attention to learn and grow. The teachers even printed out special worksheets for mine, as she was interested in spelling. The staff is personable and truly cares for your children. I have kids who actually look forward to going to school/daycare each day now, and that is a blessing of no small feat.

Alex SnoeyinkFeb 20, 2026My very energetic 2yo boy had struggled at a previous day care and since moving him, we have had zero issues. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Not only have we had zero issues but he actually enjoys going to day care now. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!
