My daughter thrives here—her confidence, independence, and love for learning have grown in ways we never imagined. Our child has attended BCM for both Preschool and Kindergarten and I couldn’t possibly speak more highly of the school and staff. After touring many options for her first place to attend on her own, I knew BCM was the place for her before I even left the building. Sue, the owner and director is so insightful and pays the closest attention to each student, nurturing their gifts and simultaneously working on strengthening areas that need it, academically or socially. Her staff of teachers are each just as kind, attentive and wonderful as the next - our daughter loves every single one of them. The Montessori program they’ve curated is engaging, thoughtful and fosters so much independence. They’ve created a classroom family for the kids that’s somehow calm, peaceful, educational and fun at the same time. As a parent, seeing your child so happily run into school each morning is something that’s invaluable, and for that, I’m so grateful we’ve found this gem of a school.

Sending our children to Birmingham Community Montessori has been one of the best decisions we've ever made. The environment is so warm, supportive and nurturing for both students and parents. Sue and the entire team have done an excellent job creating curriculum that's engaging for the students, and allows them hand-on opportunities to learn, grow and explore. Since being enrolled my kids have excelled and I cannot recommend this program highly enough to any parent looking for a pre-school / kindergarten option for their child.

We absolutely love Birmingham Community Montessori. My child learned so much every single day in a nurturing, calm environment. I truly can't speak highly enough about the school/program. Every teacher is kind and attentive. Sue, the lead teacher, is always available when needed and goes above and beyond to make sure each child succeeds.
