  • Building Blocks Preschool and Summer Camp provided an exceptional start to my son’s educational journey. Frankie started there when he was four, and now he’s heading into his senior year of high school with a passion for learning that began in those classrooms. The teachers created an environment where he felt safe, supported, and excited to explore. They sparked his curiosity in a way that stayed with him long after he left their doors. Building Blocks didn’t just prepare him for kindergarten—they helped shape the student and person he is today. I highly recommend Building Blocks to any family seeking a nurturing, engaging, and truly formative early education experience.

  • I truly can not speak highly enough about the program Building Blocks offers. My daughter has been attending for the last year and a half and to see her confidence soar is amazing. We love the nature based approach and all the outdoor playing she gets. The team there does a great job making it feel like family and i feel really secure having my child spend the day there!

  • Where else can your little one play in an outdoor mud kitchen, hike to nearby trails at Proud Lake Recreation Area, observe nature up close, help to bake bread using zucchini grown in the garden on-site, learn to climb a tree, and soak up the joys of childhood? This play-based nature-inspired preschool is like no other! The love and attention they pour into the different programs are done with careful consideration - all meant to help the kids flourish. Our kiddo was celebrated for her love of “treasures” and, rather than trying to redirect her, they made a special treasure box for her to collect them. It’s the small things that really add up. The daily learning story they sent out was amazing and included photos, quotes from the kids, and summarized what the kids learned each day. If you are fortunate enough to join the Building Blocks family you will look back at those years with fondness. They love the kids, honor their sense of curiosity, and find meaningful ways to connect them to nature.

  • I can't say enough good about this school! We did their summer camp program and I was very satisfied. Both of my children are very picky and hard to please. They were both ecstatic to go every single day! I was extremely impressed with the number of outdoor activities they had every day. It was always different and exciting. From inspecting bugs to outdoor water play, they never failed to impress! Building blocks truly is a nature school. They are almost never inside. Unless the children want to be. They offer many choices and seem to really value what the children want. The teachers were always so inviting, genuine, and kind. Thank you for everything! See you all next year.

  • My children are thriving in this environment. The staff are compassionate and excellent communicators. They balance play with learning and always care about the well being and safety of the students and staff. The facility is clean and appropriate for the age of the children. Best decision I have ever made for the care of my children.

  • The owner and teachers here truly care for the students. They let the children explore, play, discover and deal with conflict at age appropriate levels. My child gets so much outside play - even in the winter which we love! You know it's an amazing place when all the teachers have long tenures. My child loves coming to school and her growth in learning and confidence has exploded. This school has greatly exceeded our expectations!
