We had a wonderful experience with Child Star Development Center. The teachers truly care for the children as if they were their own and create a loving, family-like environment. One thing I always appreciated was the home-cooked meals they smelled delicious, and I knew my child was being fed nutritious food every day. The staff does an amazing job balancing learning and fun. The children are exposed to reading educational activities, art projects, and hands-on experiences that help them grow and thrive. My child always came home excited to share what they had learned. Child Star does have clear policies regarding drop-off and pick-up times, and they expect families to follow the rules they have in place. While consistency and punctuality are important to them, those standards help create a structured environment where children can succeed. If you're looking for a daycare where your little ones will be loved, well-fed, and encouraged to learn and explore, I highly recommend Child Star. My children truly thrived there, and I'm grateful for the care and dedication the staff provided. ❤️

Towards the end there was some changes/turnover that were concerning to me but otherwise I trusted them to care for my child and she was happy when she was there so that says a lot. Oh and the cook- my daughter misses the food too.
Cee BeeMar 2, 2025My kids enjoyed the daycare they were happy to go every morning. However, the owner does not have Grace with the parents. My children were there from infancy to toddlers. I was 1 minute late, begged them to allow the kids in because I had to work… They didn’t allow it. I chose to take my kids elsewhere.
Chanell HarrisAug 12, 2024Integrity noun [U] (HONESTY) the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles that you refuse to change. Business is ran in such a way that everyone walks around timid and afraid for the security of their job. The owners Ms. Lomax and Ms. Dash are very unprofessional, condescending and inappropriate with staff and parent partners. They run this business as they see fit and not necessarily by the rules mandated by the state and federal government. I will be making a report to Michigan Department of Labor & Economic Opportunity. Also reporting to Better Business Bureau. Also, will be seeking legal counsel regarding bias and discrimination addressing The Crown Act with this company.
