This place is rude they lie have treat and punished my step daughter for something that happened one time and wanna punish her everyday for it . And force us to do things not happening. I wouldn't ever send anyone here again. The place is dirty cluttered from hell . The state needs to do inspections they got weird looking people changing children . Creepy if you ask me. A child ask my kids everyday if their real mom is dead and I have heard it and so have staff and the other parent and it's been addressed to staff and they laugh about this not cool or funny when these children don't see their real daily or talk to her daily or what if she was passed away how would that make someone feel. I have all the proofs!! And I will be posting them to show.😡😡😡😡
SarahJul 28, 2026My daughter absolutely loves being here I feel like her needs are more than met everyday I never wonder how she is doing teachers are very transparent with me everyday. They are attentive to all of her needs and provide healthy lunches that cater to her likes with also having her try new foods. We are very happy with the care she receives they have exceeded my expectations time and time again.
Mikayla HudsonSep 18, 2024I have personally worked in several childcare centers and none of them hold a candle to Children’s Discovery Academy when it comes to caring for children properly and with human centered care. They treat your children like they are human and like they matter. They give resources to families and bend over backwards to ensure every child's needs are met to the best of their ability. It is single handedly the best child care center I have ever seen -- hands down. They give children choice, autonomy, and developmentally appropriate activities that builds their physical and social emotional skills. I love what the Children’s Discovery Academy does within the community and can't boost them up enough.
Sasha BoileauSep 14, 2024I had my children enrolled for 2 days. I told teachers and director my oldest had high energy. I was assured they had strong teachers who could handle him. After spemding time in the classroom i was worried the teachers couldnt handle an energetic child. I was again told they are strong teachers who can handle difficult children. I gave them tools, activies, and suggestions and none of it was used. They could not handle him at all. He ran all over and did nothing in the classroom. An extra teacher was added to the room and they still couldnt handle him. I was asked if my oldest was autistic because he loves to run amd didnt want to sit and play blocks with the director when SHE wanted. My toddler wasn't watch. I seen him put his head in the water table and I was the one who pulled him out. None his or preschool (who was outside as well at the time) teachers see his face in water. When I told the director I was told sense no one seen it but me it didn't happen. My child could have died and no one would have noticed, if I wasn't there. I was called a lier and told I over reacted. My children have a lactose allergy, they had a reaction each day but according to teachers neither of my children had any dairy. Water was repeatedly unavailable because teachers "forgot" to grab it while outside in 80+ degree temps. I brought stuffed toys to help my kids feel better when upset during the day. They were never given these toys and when I asked they said they didn't get it out. Their policy is one toy a day. That's five toys a week, that's gross. They refused to take my toddler potty who is potty training unless he went up to them and said poop or pee. Squating saying help poop wasn't enough. All this happened in 2 days that were 4.5 hours each. I wouldn't recommend sending your kids here.
