Community Day Care and Preschool

CDC Forest is an amazing place for children. The property is set in a beautiful nature space, and everything is so thoughtfully designed, from the indoor and outdoor activities to the snack menu. After just a few months, my 3-year-old was writing her name and counting, but there’s a high emphasis placed on social-emotional learning as well. We look forward to many more months at CDC!

Both of our children have attended CDC Forest and we could not have hoped for a better experience. We appreciate their emphasis on play and nature- based learning (they spend so much time outside) and that they incorporate so much social-emotional learning into all that they do. Additionally, their teachers are exceptional and show genuine care in every interaction with both students and families. We feel incredibly lucky to be a part of the CDC community!

Two of our kids have attended CDC-Forest, one for kindergarten and the other for going on three years of preschool. I cannot say enough good things about CDC. I am impressed with the Highscope curriculum, all of the outdoor play and engaging activities, and most of all with how dedicated all of the staff, teachers, administrators, and assistants are here. Everything is approached in a developmentally appropriate way, and everything about the environment is designed to support and foster independence and growth. Both of our kids have thrived here, and have loved their time at CDC so much. It is everything a preschool should be!

We love CDC! My daughter attended kindergarten at CDC Forest and had an amazing experience. She spent lots of time outside, learned so much, and was supported in her social and emotional development as well. Highly recommend!

My kids are kindergartners and I could not imagine a better social/academic environment for them to learn and grow. We feel so lucky to have found CDC. The staff is the most caring and competent group of people you can find. It’s a special place.
