LOVE LOVE LOVE! We have been there for almost 3 years… Ms Cook and her team have always taken incredible care of our kids... they love it there! We are almost out of Cooks and I’ll be so sad to say goodbye. We are beyond blessed to have had such a wonderful experience. Thank you to everyone there!
Maggie McCaffertyJul 14, 2026My family has been fortunate enough to have two of our children attened Cooks, with our youngest enrolled currently. Kelly and all the staff do wonderful job providing the perfect balance between keeping the children happy/entertained while also ensuring they are prepared for the next steps in their development from an education standpoint. Would highly recommend Cooks for all parents and kids!
Aaron BlasiusJul 13, 2026We cannot recommend Cook’s Academy enough! The staff is incredibly caring and attentive to the children. Kelly Cook is always present and part of day to day operations! This is so important to us as most owners are never visible and have no idea what’s going on at their place of business. The facility is very clean, safe, and full of fun activities for the kids. I feel at ease knowing my child is in such good hands at Cook’s Academy. Thank you for providing such a wonderful environment for our son over the last 3 years!
Crystal OJun 28, 2024They are severely understaffed and have been reported to the state several times for being out of ratio in the past two years. The owner has no interest in listening to parental concerns and refuses to communicate in an effective manner with parents about their child's care. They will keep your child alive, but do not expect much else from them unless there is a change in management. I highly recommend you contact LARA and get reports from the state prior to enrolling your child in this school.
Erica BennettMar 18, 2024Cook's Academy was an absolute blessing. They had availability, and were extremely flexible in easing our daughter into the program on a 2/day week plan with the ability to upgrade to 5 days without any kind of waitlist. They don't nickel and dime you on before/after care hours and make payment very simple and transparent. The facility is clean, secure, and they have tons of options for indoor and outdoor play. We were always notified when kids in the same room were sick with something more than a cold and were communicative about activities and receptive to inquiries/feedback. As is standard in today's economy/work environment we did observe regular turnover, but everyone they brought in was always professional, pleasant to interact with, and caring towards our daughter. She absolutely loved school and I think the easy transition had everything to do with the level of care, love, and attention she received there. Can't say enough good things about Kelly (the owner), her staff, and the school. For her, it is clearly a labor of love. You can rest assured your children are safe and well cared for at this facility.
Ryan KlomanOct 21, 2023worst place to send your kids as the staff is untrained, rude, unwelcoming and can‘t even communicate properly with kids. Make shift teachers doesn’t even look to have any motivation to teach kids anything. Teachers do not smile or look happy when children walk into the classroom, with unwelcoming expression on their faces.
