Our experience with Dearborn Early Learning Center has been nothing short of amazing. Our first two children have truly thrived here, and we are so confident in the care and education they provide that our next two children will be attending as well. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can tell that everyone genuinely cares about the children and their families. Every staff member is welcoming, kind, patient, and always willing to help. They go out of their way to make both parents and children feel comfortable, heard, and supported. The teachers are truly exceptional. They create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where kids are encouraged to learn, grow, and build confidence every day. It's clear that they treat each child as an individual, taking the time to understand their unique needs and personalities. What stands out most is how genuine everyone is. Their kindness never feels forced. It is simply part of who they are. Communication is excellent, the facility is clean and well-maintained, and you can see the pride they take in providing the best possible experience for every family. Finding people you trust with your children is one of the biggest decisions a parent can make, and Dearborn Early Learning Center has earned that trust completely. We are incredibly grateful for everything they do and couldn't recommend them more highly. Shoutout miss Jennifer, Lauren, Stacy, Lynda, Michelle & Joelle!
Hassan EssailiJul 4, 2026I can’t say enough wonderful things about this preschool. From the moment we enrolled, we felt like our son was truly seen, cared for, and nurtured. The teachers are incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth. What amazes me most is how much our son has learned in such a short time. At just 3 years old, he can already read and even write his own name—something we never expected this early! He has read 18 books so far, and his confidence and love for learning grow every single day. The environment they’ve created is not only educational but also warm and supportive. You can tell the teachers put their hearts into what they do, and it really shows in the children. We are beyond grateful to have found a preschool that has played such a huge role in shaping our son’s early learning journey. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a place where their child will truly thrive.
Inaya BazzyMar 25, 2026The best decision I have ever made was to send my preschooler here. The teachers are so genuine and they care, the school program itself is very organized and they have a routine and provide a curriculum that allows the kids to grow. They have regular assessing of skills so you can reinforce practicing at home. My son is three and is reading, he adores school, his friends and his teachers. He has blossomed into an even more independent boy. I cannot say enough how wonderful this program is!
Alexis HokayemJan 21, 2026I’ve gone back and forth about posting this, but I feel it’s only fair for parents to have the full picture of what will be offered. My 3-year-old attended this pre school, They charge among the highest tuition rates in the area which I was willing to pay, assuming my child would be treated well. Unfortunately, our experience did not match the reputation. Because my son did not nap on command, he was repeatedly removed from his classroom and made to sit in the office for extended periods of time (at least an hour, to my knowledge). There were no developmentally appropriate accommodations offered, such as quiet activities… (which, after doing research, other preschools provide) At pickup, my child would often be completely mute—emotionally shut down, not speaking or responding—as if he believed he was being punished. He also began having nightmares on school nights, which had never been an issue before. For this reasoning I pulled him from the program. After speaking to a well known BCBA This is not developmentally appropriate for a 3-year-old. Not all children nap, and isolating a child for that reason is punitive rather than supportive. I want to be clear: this is not just my experience. I’ve spoken with multiple parents who have shared similar concerns but choose to stay quiet. I’ve also seen children removed or “kicked out” based solely on the director observing them and deciding they are “not a good fit,” without meaningful time, support, or intervention. Preschool is meant to be fun, toddlers are supposed to be able to act as toddlers. Not military soldiers. Childcare is not one-size-fits-all, but emotional safety, flexibility, and fair treatment should be the minimum—especially at premium prices. I’m sharing this so parents can make informed decisions and ask the right questions, not to attack anyone. Trust your instincts and advocate for your child.
Elaina KhaterDec 19, 2025My daughter has been with DELC since before she started walking as a student in My Baby & Me and after 2 years, she is now a PreK3 student. My son has started the 1 year old Baby & Me class this year. Sandra & her teachers are the most caring, motivating and supportive teachers you can trust with your childs mind and education. I’ve seen such an amazing difference in my children’s learning and development since starting at this school. I only recommend this program and there’s no close second. We love DELC! (structure, routine, academics, cleanliness, interaction, updates from teachers, communication with parents)
Rim JaafarOct 18, 2024My four children have attended DELC for the last ten years, and our time has come to an end. The school truly feels like a family. The staff are professional, caring, and care about each child. When my son was recovering from surgery, he was thrilled to receive a gift in the mail from his teachers. The school is clean, organized, and they are on top of their communication. I never worried about their safety and teacher turnover was a nonissue, which helped created a stable learning environment. My childrens’ handwriting and reading have improved, and they were all kindergarten ready, despite only attending part time. Thank you to Ms. Sandra and the DELC team for creating such a loving and engaging learning environment. And thank you to Ms. Michelle for greeting all the children with a bright smile each morning! We will miss you all!
