Discovery Corner Academy

We loved Discovery Corner Academy! Our son enjoyed going there and loved the teachers and the other kids. They offer very flexible hours and are open most days of the year, which was a huge plus for us. Our only disappointment was that we didn’t send him there sooner!

The best place for my little one. Last year he went to another daycare and he would cry every single day! In DCA he is sooo happy! They have plenty of space to play, and he loves his teachers! They are sweet, they take such good care of my son! And Loretta is phenomenal! What a great place to learn and grow!

Discovery Corner Academy was a wonderful experience for our child. Starting at 2 1/2 years old we were terrified of entrusting the care of our daughter to anyone else. The team there, led by the indefatigable and exceedingly kind Loretta, have created a warm, safe and family like environment. We are particularly grateful to the outstanding duo of Ms. Megans who cared for our daughter (and all the other children under their tutelage) with such loving kindness and tenderness. Their friendliness and open communication with us and affectionate attention to each and every kiddo there was truly commendable. Our daughter absolutely loved them. If you’re looking for a place where your child will be safe and begin there journey of socialization within a diverse community that values respect, compassion and fun, look no further than Discovery Corner Academy.

We love this preschool! Our daughter started here when she was 2.5 years old. We were looking for a place where she would be loved and cared for, and we found exactly that. Now, after 2 years, we still feel so lucky to be part of this warm and kind community. All the teachers are friendly, caring, and truly passionate about what they do. One of the things I love most is that every teacher knows every child, no matter which class they are in, it really feels like a big, loving family. At this preschool, the children are not only cared for, they are guided, supported, and truly seen. It’s rare to find a place like this where teachers take the time to really connect with and nurture every child. Loretta, the director, is the heart of the school. She always has a kind word for everyone, and you can feel her warmth and dedication throughout the whole place. We are very happy here, and most importantly, our child is happy too. I truly recommend Discovery Corner to any family looking for a nurturing, loving preschool.

We have loved our time at DCA! The teachers and staff have been great and our daughter has flourished in DCA’s environment. We appreciate that most of the teachers have been with DCA for many years so the center has very minimal turnover. Also, the schedule flexibility has been so helpful for our family. Finally, the Director, Loretta, is also wonderful. She is very organized and plans such fun activities for the kids. My daughter truly loves going to school each day!
