Dora's Playhouse Daycare Home

I wasn’t planning on sharing my experience, but after taking some time to reflect, I think it’s important for other parents to be aware. When we toured, Miss Dora was very kind and welcoming. The environment appeared comfortable and had a cozy, homeschool-like atmosphere. However, as our start date approached, communication became inconsistent. I reached out multiple times before our first day and provided the days I would need care. The day before we were scheduled to begin, I sent a message expressing how excited we were to start. I then received a call informing me that the days I needed were no longer available and that only Saturday and Sunday openings remained. I worked with my manager to adjust my schedule to accommodate those days, but after reaching back out to confirm, I never received a response. What is most disappointing is the lack of communication and consideration for the position this put me in professionally. Situations like this can affect a parent’s income, job security, and ability to provide for their child. A simple conversation or honest communication would have gone a long way. I would not feel comfortable recommending this provider based on my experience. Rating: 0/10

Great staff great kids it’s a wonderful experience for my kids which I Weinstein think would happen at first but it was the best decision I would ever make it’s so close to home my kids love it and come home learning new things and wanting to converse with me on everything they Learned from the day I haven’t been so satisfied with a daycare for a long time mind you I have 2 kids and it’s not that much either with DHS and it’s very close to me and my children are happy and don’t won’t to even leave once I see them it’s the greatest feeling in the world

Ms.Darniska who owns and operates this daycare out of here home,is amazing,understanding to unique situations.Very kind , considerate and compassionate to the children and their families,it is a wonderful place for children. As well as the people that work for her, The children just love her. She takes very good care of them and plays with them and teaches them.!!! I highly recommend this daycare in this home environment!!!

Ms. Dora is a great lady, teacher, mother overall a great person and don't mess over her with any ill intent she will cut u off because enough is enough. My daughter love the daycare she always happy when she gets there as she is braced with love everytime. Thank u for everything

My kids love this daycare. It’s been 6 months and I have noticed a great change in my kids confidence. When I drop them off they are excited and when I pick them up they don’t want to leave. Thank you Ms.Dora for all you do! If you are looking for a home daycare that treats your kids like they are apart of their family go to Dora’s Playhouse your kids will love the homey vibe, home cooked meals and all around care she has for the children
