When I first enrolled my daughter I was very satisfied in the level of care and education my daughter was receiving. As time went on they were overcharging me and no one could give me a valid answer or reason for the extra fees that were being imposed. This happened twice the first time I was charged $850 then they refunded my money then the next time I started paying with my company checks then again no remorse so I pulled her. Very disappointed not to mention during the summer program I paid a deposit for enrollment and was told later that her spot was taken with no call or reply.
Esther RossNov 9, 2022I was very disappointed and gave it an extra star for the school grounds, which are very nice. After several positive recommendations from friends who are also teachers and sent their kids to the school (they are now high schoolers so a while ago), I sent my granddaughter to EI. I was debating between Red Hill in Farmington however chose Early Impressions as it was closer to my home and they offered hot lunches. My granddaughter had attended an in-home daycare when she came to Early Impressions and she knew more than the typical 3 year old (i.e. days of week, months of year, colors, letters, and a very strong vocabulary). Unfortunately she learned absolutely nothing at Early Impressions - NOTHING. It appeared they just colored and did playwork and it was a complete waste of my money. The grounds are very well maintained and the teacher was very nice. The COVID pandemic didn't make it better. We had to pay $50 per week for 12 weeks, which was fair given EI is a private school but we received absolutely nothing for the small fee. Initially they were to send home a weekly packet but nothing. They were very unresponsive during and after the pandemic and never returned emails or phone calls. Then after the school year officially ended, I inquired about my deposit made in the beginning of the school year and they tried to keep a portion of my deposit. Money is not important to me if I receive something in return; we didn't receive much in return at Early Impressions.
Stacie DurantSep 21, 2020My 3 year old daughter went there based off recommendation and at first was ok. Then as the year went on you would see different teachers in her room. Never notified any of us parents about it. When you ask the kids where their teacher is they would say “she’s at home and not coming back” meaning she left permanently. The kids really didn’t learn a lot because they had no stability. This disturbed many parents. Also they would lose people checks. I would not recommend this school for this age. I don’t know much about the kindergarten class but any age under kindergarten I wouldn’t recommend
Tasha JacksonJan 31, 2020Excellent school. My daughter could read independently prior to starting kindergarten and has been there since 2.5 years old. They emphasize academics through daily homework packets that are both interactive and reinforces what children learn in the classroom. Sight words in abundance and summer homework are a must. Science projects for 2 and 3 year olds, however, are stressful for parents to do. Overall, this school has made a great impression in our lives.
Asia BradleySep 16, 2019Early Impressions is an excellent school I would recommend to anyone who is interested in providing their child with a top notch education. The entire staff is completely committed to the students' success. Students receive focused individual academic attention and are taught strong values as well. The facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming.
Kevin PooleDec 8, 2016They have REAL teachers. You can tell they love what they do. Every classroom is clean, quiet, and organized, and encourages independent learning. My daughter is well prepared for elementary school.
