Both our children attend daycare here and we have been very pleased. Kind and creative staff, up-to-date technology/ app so we can know what our kids are up to throughout the day.

Zee LoveOct 23, 2024This church is an absolute waste of space. I have lived a block away for over 30yrs. This church does absolutely nothing for or with the community. If they could pick up their church and move it somewhere else, I’m sure they would. There’s no community outreach, no food drives, they don’t even allow neighborhood kids at their park. They have never attended any community events or meetings. This is probably why their Sunday attendance has dropped dramatically. There used to be cars lining the streets on Sundays and now it’s basically empty. They do nothing a church is supposed to do except hoard their tax free money. This church upholds zero Christian values and looks upon addicts, poor people and children with disdain instead of being kind and trying to help, which I’m sure is what Jesus would want. That being said, skip this church. It’s a waste of your time. There is another one right down the street called Crossraods Church. It is absolutely amazing. They just built an NEIGHBORHOOD park for the kids. They provide transportation for people who otherwise couldn’t attend, like the elderly and disabled or just people too poor to afford transportation. They offer counseling and help to people with addiction. The are very active in the community and make everyone feel welcome. They embody the teachings of Christ and are a great asset to have in the neighborhood. The are the exact opposite of Emmanuel First Lutheran. Also if you work at this church and my words have offended you… ask yourself why. Why would they offend you if you actually were doing what a church and a follower of Christ is supposed to do? I suggest you pray on it and try to become a better human being that actually cares for others who are different from you.
