  • I was having problems and down on my luck. I was told to reach out to see if I can get some assistance with an eviction and the first thing the lady said do you belong to any of our campuses? And I said no, she said well, the answer would be no, we won't accept you and all I thought was this is a place of God. This is a church that's supposed to be accepting of any and everybody. Not once did she say do you have a church home? Or are you willing to worship our fellowship with us? After this incident. I wouldn't be inclined to ever tell anybody that this is a church.If you're not a part of them then you don't matter.

  • On my visit home I had hoped for a wonderful 9:30 traditional service on 4/30, but instead found it to be uncomfortably noisy with the added instruments, rather than traditional with the great old hymns that add so much to the message. Adam was a great messenger of the word though - so very thankful for that.

  • I live on the West side of Michigan. Even though this church is an hour from my home, it is my favorite place of worship. They offer two services, and I love the traditional to contemporary music. The pastor, David, is engaging and his messages are so connected to how we can serve others, we listen on YouTube when we can't get to church in person. My husband has been a volunteer at this church for over 25 years. It is a wonderful place, no matter your age!

  • First Church has helped me via sermons, Bible Studies or just meeting with the pastors through many personal issues in my life. I don’t know how I could have survived these last 20+ years without First Church in my life! What an amazing church for me personally and for the community and the many ways it reaches out to all through the sermons and outreach of all the various programs. We are so blessed!

It is a teaching church that I personally guarantee, no matter how or when you attend, there will be a “take away” that will transform your thinking. It is completely scripture based, offering enlightenment, peace and assurance that God loves and cares for you. Try us out for yourself, you will not be disappointed!

  • Great place to grow and connect. Lots of Amazing programs to get plugged into. There's an Awesome children's ministry, great outreach programs, as well as adult study groups. There is something for everyone. So feel free to give First Church a try.
