Geneva Presbyterian Church

I lived in the community and worshipped/served Plymouth/Canton churches/schools for over two and a half decades, including Geneva Church. My family was facing a crisis and needed assistance, however, this church is not the place to find true compassion and comfort in times of need. It's sad when the church welcomes your tithes with open arms but looks the other way in the face of your crisis.

Very friendly congregation. Currently, great Interim Associate Pastor, born in Kansas, Teresa Parks Peterson, whom replaced Bryan Smith who has retired. Many activities for children and adults. Not a mega size church like Ward Evangelical in Northville-Livonia area or Northridge Church in Plymouth. Lots of activities for children and adults. Upcoming Women's Retreat in February 2022. Many technical ways to attend if not able to do in person. IE, zoom, Facebook, etc.

I wish that more people knew about this absolutely wonderful church. You get that sweet, small town feel to it - smaller congregation, everyone knows everyone else - but their church as a whole is quite impressive for it's size. The various programs and initiatives they run are again, impressive. The church is never without being involved in either one of their own programs, or joining forces with another group/church/organization. I couldn't go through this review without mentioning Geneva's Children's Director - Nancy. She works with the kiddos each Sunday on a simpler way to understand the message being given that morning. She's great with kids -- patient, kind, encouraging, but she also makes sure to come up with some sort of activity that will send the kiddos home being able to tell their families all about the message that Sunday - and tell tell these stories with excitement. Geneva is blessed to have Nancy - the church is blessed to have all staff, and all church-goers. The people there couldn't possibly be nicer. From the first time I attended years ago and up to today, I am always greeted with smiles, warmth, and that feeling you get when you're in a place filled with genuine love and kindness -- that's Geneva. I HIGHLY encourage you to give this little church a chance. I guarantee you will be very pleasantly surprised - and grateful for that special Sunday morning.

Awesome preschool , my daughter loves to go there , excellent teachers and very friendly staff

Wonderful preschool program. Very creative crafts. Hosted a meeting for childcare directors, they were so great here.
