Griff and Vicki's Child Care

I had a young 7 month old daughter there and only had her there for 2 months before I pulled her out. My daughter had separation anxiety at the time and I thought maybe having some socialization would help. The one PRO that I can think of is that they helped getting her to sleep in a crib by herself while I was struggling to do so. But one specific lady, I do not remember her name, was always very harsh specifically with me and how I needed to drop her and leave so she could get over it sooner, which is fine but she was very blunt about it. Every time I came to pick up my daughter, she would tell me about how hard it was to care for her and that maybe daycare wasn’t for my daughter. She snapped at another worker that went to pick up my daughter while she was crying when I left. That shook me to my core that I felt that they let my little BABY sit there and cry because she needed to learn separation. I did get a call later that day apologizing for her actions for that one day, but she was like this everyday. I will not bring my child back there. I think this place would be great for older children, but definitely not infants.

My son started around 2 months ago he is 3 I have never seen him happier at a daycare then he has been at grief and vickies we used to have to listen to him scream every morning of day care I dont want to go I dont want to go then we had to pry him off us when we would drop him off with him crying and screaming now at griff and vickies first day a couple months ago no tears what so ever a last week I dropped him off was filling out paperwork one of the providers said do you want to read a book with me they sat down and read together I started to leave keller looks at me doesnt even get say bye mom love you and back tonhis provider his attention went I can not thank them enough for the relief we have had with him going there he absolutely loves everyone and the owner john oh my gosh he's just the greatest man toy could imagine I highly recommend this daycare!!!!

Doors are unlocked. 3 year olds are in the same room as infants.

We used Griff & Vicki's for my youngest. They were fabulous. When we had difficulties with the schools day care center, Griff & Vicki's took him in short notice! They treat your children like their own!

John and his staff have been wonderful over the years. I travel from my home in Haslett each day to take my son there. There are places closer to my home and that have comparable prices, but over the past 3.5 years we have been extremely pleased with the care of our child in the hands of John's staff. I would highly recommend this daycare center.
