We have been extremely happy with the services at this daycare. The new director is absolutely wonderful and truly exactly what this center needed kind, attentive, and very involved. The hours are perfect for working families, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond to make the children feel safe, loved, and supported. You can tell they genuinely care, and that means everything to us. Highly recommend!
Arleen EastwoodJan 15, 2026My kids go to the Lansing location on Michigan Ave, My one daughter has been there since February of 2021 (3 months old) my 2nd daughter started in January of 2025 (4 months old) I wanted to start off my saying that the teachers and staff there are amazing! They are great with both my girls. The hour to hour fee is better than a flat fee. I am able to pay by hour so if I don’t need a day I don’t have to pay as long as I give notice. Strongly recommend!
Mindy HillOct 8, 2025My son went to happy elephant for almost 2 years before we moved to a new area. I cannot say enough good things. Every teacher he had loved and cared so much for the children. My son still talks about Happy Elephant and some of his favorite teachers Ms. Artie and Ms. Nichole! I would recommend this daycare center to everyone!
Maria Celene YokichJul 20, 2023We have had both our kids there for the last 7 years. We wouldn't want them to be anywhere else. The staff is always friendly and engaging with the kids. They always have great activities that the kids enjoy. Their flexibility for scheduled hours is a great plus!

When there was ever an issue the director called us right away. One thing that surprises us is that the teachers seem to stay there for a long time, it’s nice to see the same faces for many years! They also have a great food program and our kids love the food!

My wife was very nervous after having our daughter, going back to work was a difficult decision, finding child care that met our standards was a daunting task. From day one the staff has been more than a blessing. They treat our daughter amazing she loves going to happy elephant. I feel she is safe, loved, and received the best care there. I would highly recommend Happy Elephant to anyone looking for A+ care for their children.
