Heart of the Shepherd Child Development Center

My husband and I are so grateful for the wonderful teachers and staff at Heart of the Shepherd Child Development Center. Our oldest son attended for 2 years prior to starting kindergarten, and he was so well prepared as he moved on to the next chapter of his education. Heart of the Shepherd provided a loving, Christ centered environment for our son to learn and play. We are so thankful for them!

Heart of the Shephard has wonderful caring teachers and staff. All three of our children went there for daycare and school age programs. They all played and learned in a way that helped them grow. The classroom, big room and outdoor spaces were all such fun for them to run and play. We will always hold a special place in our hearts for Heart of the Shepherd- it's a school that feels like family.

We’ve had all three of our kids attend this daycare - from infancy through school-age summer programs - and we’ve been so happy with the care and community here. From day one, the center has felt warm, welcoming, and honey - like a second family. The staff and teachers are incredibly kind and attentive, and they’ve truly helped our kids grow, learn, and feel loved every step of the way. There’s a strong sense of community, not just with the staff, but with the other families too. It’s the kind of place where you feel supported and connected, and your child isn’t just another name on a list - they’re truly known here. We’re so grateful for the years we’ve spent here and would absolutely recommend this Center to any family looking for a cozy, nurturing, safe, and joyful environment for their little ones.

Our daughter has been a part of the Heart of the Shepherd Lutheran Child Development Center for 6 years, since she was just a baby in their infant room. She is in 1st Grade now, but we still attend their summer program because we love them SO MUCH! One of the greatest things about HOTS CDC is the consistent staff and their genuine love and kindness. Highly recommend :-)

The Child Development Center at Heart of the Shepherd is amazing. The teachers and staff welcome children and families into a loving, supportive environment. The teachers meet children where they are at and support them in developing at their own pace. They foster independence, such as zipping coats and putting on hats. The playgrounds are incredible for exploration, nature, and fun. The center also has a large indoor space to play for when the weather is bad. I am eternally grateful for Heart of the Shepherd for being part of my village.
