6-05-26 So beautiful. One of my new favorite running spots. Trees, paths, the condor and flowers are in bloom. Check it out. The water is mesmerizing with the color and lake kelp and lilly pads.
Shane DanielJun 8, 2026A very pleasant walking path through tall trees and past quiet ponds. They have some rescue animals that they are caring for, and they are in good sized enclosures. Depending on the paths you take, you can be in woody silence or next to a busy road.
Sandy Schreiber BratzelJun 3, 2026We had a beautiful day to snow shoe this great park. We had no idea that this park even existed. We will definitely be back.
Lisa HernandezFeb 8, 2026I'm from Utah and this place was pretty cool. Nice thick Forest right in the middle of town. The bridge is a little rickety. I'm a big guy so I skipped the bridge
Austin FennJun 26, 2025Definitely a great place for a peaceful morning walk. Such an active trail!
Willow LanoueJun 14, 2025We love the short walks around EL Johnson. Chance to see some wildlife, deer, fox, muskrats, turtles, lots of (quite large) fish, &c. The indoor center is also fun for younger kids. Though, we always seem to miss the “programs”. Our fault, of course. We should plan ahead. Bring some carrots or apples for the caged deer. If you forget, there is a crabapple tree just a hundred yards or so north of the pens. Sometimes you can grab the low hanging fruit. Do NOT feed the raptors, though.
