This daycare has been an absolute saving grace and you can tell the owner Mrs. Johnson has a true passion and love for children. Both of my sons have been attending for over a year and I have seen tremendous growth in both of them. They come home excited to share what they have learned and each night they go to bed excited to see their teachers and friends in the morning. I love the open floor plan and class structure. Even though my boys aren’t in the same class they are still able to see each other through the day while maintaining class structure and it not being a distraction during designated learning times. This was important to me because my boys are very close and I didn’t want them apart all day. Also the staff is very well trained and attentive. They always give me updates on how my children did through the day and areas where they had to positively redirect. Can’t say enough good things about this place. I will definitely be sending my daughter here when she’s of age.
Sterling ShepherdSep 16, 2025My children went to this place, and my daughter was treated very well. My 1 year old son, however, was kept in a room with no lights, all day long. My daughter asked to see her brother everyday but they wouldn’t allow her to. One day she was able to finally sneak a peek when they opened the door. I noticed my son was starting to act differently so I pulled both kids and things started improving with my son’s behavior. After I pulled them, my daughter finally told me what she observed. This place abuses children but in a way where there are no marks left behind. If you notice a change in your child, trust your instincts.
Mindi Giorlando-TimminsApr 29, 2025This daycare has been nothing but BLESSINGS IN MY LIFE! Mrs. Johnson is the best to ever do it! I feel as if my child is really loved and cared for at all times. This is the best daycare to me nobody call tell me different.
destiny groveMay 3, 2024I love this daycare and ALL of the staff that works there. Mrs. Johnson watched my son from the age of 3-5. She showed my son so much love and affection. He learned so much from them at JoyBell that, Now I have a 2 year old baby girl and she’s been attending Joybell ever since she was 6 months. My baby love Mrs. Johnson and her staff just as much as my son did when he went here. I would recommend this daycare to anybody because when you go here your child is not just a number and it shows how much they all care about the kids.
Jerome DodsonApr 18, 2024I sent my two oldest here years ago. I had no idea Mrs. Johnson was like this. Her staff…. well one staff member my husband and I complained about get never speaking or greeting us in the morning….How do you take some one kids but not speak , on top of my baby would act a fool when she grab him in the morning. Mrs. Johnson was aware and still let this behavior continued. She complained about only getting paid for 60 hours by DHS….. Not only did I OFFER the remainder balance at the time she never brought it back up. Now FF I no longer have assistance went to drop my kid off, was denied even tho I explained to the young lady we was willing to pay cash …. Mrs. Johnson thinks everyone is a welfare recipient and she looks beneath u! The whole time I was trying to tell her I’ll pay out of pocket she was venting to me about her staff and money issues !!! I don’t wk here and I could care less I am concerned about my child. It’s funny because when I had an issue about my kid she never stayed on the phone longer than 3 sec. My son was already attending so how do u charge registration fees.Oh let’s not forget she say she called u back but didn’t really. This daycare is a joke…
Charlotte HesterDec 8, 2022It is often said that you don't realize what you have until it's gone. How true that is. All six of my children attended Joybells Learning Center, with my oldest now being 19 years old. So for many years, Mrs Johnson and her staff were considered "family". In 2020, I made the decision to relocate out of state. I wish there was a way to bring Joybells here with me. The level of care that they provide is high quality. You can trust that your children are being properly cared for, nurtured, and educated while you're away. They take early childhood education very seriously, even exposing the children to computer literacy. The service they provide is unmatched. How I miss my Joybells Family...
