Kids-R-Us Child Development Center

Our two daughters went to Kids R Us for 3 years. We lived and worked in Negaunee and were unable to find childcare here. It was not convenient or easy for us to go back and forth but we kept on because of how much we love Kids R Us. Great staff, great communication, beautiful clean center, fun and exciting playground, when they throw an event, they go all out. Our girls have learned so much. Miss LaTonya runs a great daycare/preschool and has the best staff. I will always recommend Kids R Us!

I’m not sure how to put into words how much I love and appreciate this place! My son adores every one of the staff, and they care for him so well. They have helped him learn and grow SO much these last few years, and to see their connection with him melts my heart. They use the brightwheel app where they provide details about their day, pictures, and messaging, which is such a piece of mind! I love their structure as well! The kids don’t just run around all day aimlessly, they have a routine and activities to keep them all engaged and learning! If I wasn’t moving away from the area, my son would be there until he didn’t need daycare any longer. 10/10 recommend!!!

Anytime someone asks for a daycare or preschool recommendation, I never hesitate to pipe in and suggest LaTonya, Joanie, and the caring staff at Kids R Us. My daughter and my son both attended two years each of preschool at KRU, and to this day (they are now 14 and 10), they still talk about how much fun they had during their years there. KRU provides a strong educational base that allows the kids to hit the ground running when they start kindergarten, but even more important than that is the love, support, and guidance that children experience while under their care.

All three of my kids went to Kids R Us. My youngest from the time he was a baby through preschool. No other place will you find a more caring compassionate staff who will care for your child like they are their own! The Preschool program will have your child beyond prepared for kindergarten. My kids loved everyone that worked there, and the staff genuinely love my kids. I knew my kids were getting the best care and education around!!!! I wouldn't have trusted anyone else to look after my angels!!!

We loved Kids R Us! Truly a gem for the area. My older son went through preschool years and attended their after school program, and my younger son started as an infant. We recently moved, or my children would definitely be continuing with them. They obviously loved our boys, and make it clear that they value education and early development. They were very supportive of breastfeeding, and flexible with me on scheduling. A pleasure to work with, and a comfort to know our children were in such good hands. Definitely recommended!!
