  • Both of my kids have been attending LILA and love it! All staff are so supportive, nice, friendly; and care about my kids. I honestly wish we had brought them sooner.

  • I would not recommend this daycare. The director is friendly to parents but treats the children poorly. I've personally heard her threatening kids in the bathroom, telling them things like they won't be going to "Disney." while I can hear a kid in the bathroom crying. Every time I picked my niece up, she often had food and snot on her face, and her clothes were dirty. It also seems like they hire just anyone without proper training. One day I walked in and heard a preschool teacher yelling at a child. To make things worse, I later found videos of my niece posted on one of the teachers' TikTok accounts!! Without any permission. I have proof of this, and it's completely unacceptable for staff to post children online without consent. Overall, I had a very negative experience and serious concerns about the care.

  • My son attended this monstrosity for a little over a year, it started pretty decent, you’re treated like family and made to believe your child’s is their number one concern. A few months pass and we started to notice things, weighted vest being overused and being secluded from the rest of the class. The owner acting as if she cared for my child approached us about concerns, in this time we seeked help to have my child looked at and tested. These test came back as my son having a high cognitive ability and no concerns of behavioral. Now this seemed to bother the owner, these professionals told her my son is set for pre school, in which the owner disagreed and the professionals reassured this will help his growth. She continued to push him into the toddler/baby room (my son was terrified of this room) as if something happened in there he didn’t like. A few times of arriving to pick my son up I noticed multiple times the teachers having their bf roaming around the building. As far as protection for the children go, it’s non existent. People freely come and go throughout the building and teachers are constantly changing. I feel my son was labeled a problem child in which the owner would have unprofessional negative comments to any positive outlook we gave. She said my son was a “demon” and in her “professional opinion “ would not get any better, despite actual professionals in this field stating he was in fact showing growth. Upon leaving LILA we told her, we seeked another daycare to which she responded “I give it 2 weeks” very negative and unprofessional outlook to every situation at hand. I hope you receive the proper training and a better mindset for the future children who attend here and you learn to be more respectful and professional. For future parents remember first impressions are not always the final product.

  • If you’re looking for someone who will treat your child like family while also keeping it real, this is the place. Nikki is incredibly honest and straightforward, she doesn’t sugarcoat things, and I actually really appreciate that. She holds the kids accountable in a way that helps them grow, while still showing them a ton of love and care. You can tell she truly wants the best for them. My only wish is that her center was a bit bigger because she deserves the space to match the quality of care she provides. Highly recommend!

  • We love LILA! My kids get so excited to go to “School” now! And even better that my daughter actually gets to start school through their GSRP program and saves me the trip to get her to daycare after 😉 Nikki makes everyone feel like family and there’s no better feeling then that when you’re leaving you’re literal life in their hands! I’m a huge helicopter mom and all of my questions and concerns are always met with kindness and understanding!!!! Thanks for keeping my babies safe & Happy and my mind at ease!!!! 🫶🏼

  • I truly appreciate the compassionate nature of the staff at Lenawee Intergenerational Learning Academy. They consistently keep me informed about everything that happens there, which I find incredibly reassuring. The staff is always respectful, and the environment is both friendly and safe. It's clear that everyone is genuinely kind and caring, making it a wonderful place for my son. Additionally, they are very accommodating, which makes our experience even more positive.
