The teachers at Little Angels are wonderful. They are thoughtful, caring and compassionate towards each individual child. However, I am incredibly disappointed with the administrative staff. They prioritize staying open verses ensuring the safety of the children and staff. During an intense heat wave when the central air conditioning went out, they chose to remain open and did not notify parents that the classrooms were a stifling 82degrees and rising at 8am. When parents dropped their children for the day, the teachers encouraged us to return home with our kids while the administrative staff refused to close or even notify parents of the situation until hours passed. I will NEVER comprise my child's safety for an open daycare center. When I escalated the safety concern, they never responded to me. I trust the teachers to care for my child, but I lost all trust and respect with the administrative staff after that event. We have since transferred to a different facility.
Connie DaulJul 8, 2025This place sucks. Little Angels Daycare has very underqualified teachers. The true definition of glorified babysitters. Instead of working collaboratively with parents and families to help foster their children's learning, they do not listen to suggestions from parents or families when issues arise. The owner has personal biases that affect her judgement and is honestly just terrible with kids. Very standoffish. She has never actually worked directly with kids, and that is VERY EVIDENT through her interactions with students. They continually violate LARA (Michigan State licensing) regulations and just turn a blind eye. There is a massive lack of communication between staff, teachers, and families. If you want to know how your kid's day went, what they did, and the food they ate, you're not going to get it at this place. They are more interested in just having teachers in the building, than QUALIFIED teachers. I have never met more unwelcoming staff and teachers in a childcare facility. It's truly disheartening. If you want your child to learn something, this is not the place to send your child. If your child has big emotions, they automatically assume a diagnosis, without being qualified to make that distinction or diagnosis. To deal with those big emotions, your child gets dismissed from the daycare. Because they can't keep teachers on staff, they have a revolving door of teachers, which interrupts children's learning and effects their behaviors. This place is INCOMPETENT in making that correlation. The level of incompetence at this place is ASTOUNDING! I have worked in several childcare facilities over the last 10 years and designed the curriculum at two others. Little Angels Daycare falls far below the mark of where it should be and the education they should be providing your kiddos. Overall, if you just need someone to watch your kid while you're at work, this is the place for you. If you want your kid to learn something and grow in their learning and development, this is the worst place for that. I highly suggest finding a better facility to send your kids to, so they can actually begin learning and be set up for success as they get older.
laila greenDec 6, 2024My husband and I sent both our sons here. We have experienced the baby classes all the way up to pre-k. This place is a true gem. My sons have thrived at Little Angels. A lot of other daycares have a high turnover but during our time at Little Angels we have noticed that there are quite a few teachers who have been there for years. We are also consistently impressed with the communication with the directors and ourselves. We never feel left in the dark. Ms. Noor and Ms. Hajeer in the infant room are absolutely angels. They are so caring towards all the babies and I have felt comfortable leaving my baby with them. Ms. Karima in the pre-k class is such a wonderful calm person who is so great with the older kiddos.
Kathryn LevasseurSep 12, 2024We loved Little Angels! Our daughter was in the pre-K class from age 4.5 to 5.5 and it was wonderful. All of the teachers and staff are great. My daughter was in good hands amd was well fed. Unlike most pre-schools in the area, they have a very large outdoor space to play and are open long hours to accommodate my work schedule. I highly recommend Little Angels!!!
Jasmine LuzumJun 16, 2024A well run center with caring staff and a wonderful focus on outdoor play. The fenced yard surrounding the center is practically a small park - multiple playgrounds, sprinklers, natural areas - and each classroom has a door that exits into it. The kids spend a good part of the morning and afternoon outside. In the classroom, the kids spend time doing art, sensory play, story time, dance parties. My daughter loved her teacher (Ms. Karima) - she was calm, patient, and caring.
Megan HagenauerSep 12, 2023Our 3 year old son has been attending Little Angels since he was 3 months old and they have been absolutely wonderful for his development and are a very inclusive environment. I've never doubted their level of care and now that he's old enough to talk, he tells us how much he likes it there and we can tell he learns so much there. The administration is easy to work with and the teachers are amazing. The meals are quality food and are very convenient. They offer lots of outdoor play and fun activities. Each class has a private Facebook group where they post photos. I love seeing the photos of my son having fun with crafts and snacks. I definitely recommend them for child care!
