I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am to have found Little Leap Learning Center for the care of my infant daughter. Having to leave her in the care of others during my work week is something I have struggled with like most moms. I had tried once before at a facility that had been recommended to me by family in the past, I was confident that being able to see my daughter via video would set my mind at ease while working but unfortunately it did little comfort me. I was beginning to lose hope that I would be able to continue working if I didn’t find a solution, and it was then that I found Little Leap and decided to give trusting the care of my daughter to others another chance and I am so very grateful that I did. Businesses of many kinds will throw around the referring to clientele as “family” and I think from personal experience this is mostly if not entirely false in most cases. This is NOT the case here at Little Leap Learning. Instead of advertising or stating to the parents of kids that are new to the program that they will be treated as family, they simply PRACTICE it in actions. Immediately upon entering Little Leap for the first time I noticed a difference in attitude amongst staff and overall general energy of the entire school. The positivity and utmost care displayed by all members of the staff lets you know right away that your child will be attended to by people who respect and honor not only their jobs but their daily opportunities to have meaningful and positive impacts on those they care for. In other words, there is no need for parental video monitoring, even by helicopter moms like myself. If you told me 6 months ago that I’d ever be saying this, I would never have believed it, but this place that has become a second family to us, has my complete and total trust in the care of my daughter. I am updated throughout every day of any changes in mood, behavior, or potential symptom, even minor, that they pay close attention to for me. It’s all recorded in one easy and convenient app for reference later on as needed. Kids of all ages are kept up to speed with activities that are newly researched and proven to have positive effects on their learning and development. My daughter is treated with the same care that my adoring family members and friends would give to her at home. The benefits this center has had on her are already more than apparent in her behavior and skill development. She is constantly engaged by staff and social activity is encouraged daily. Her previous day-care felt like a daily dreaded obligation for the people who worked directly with kids. There was no plan for the day and it seems like staff was merely fighting to make it through to the end of each day. I’m so glad I’ve now seen how great a properly run day-care/school/learning development center can be. You can tell that employees are treated fairly and respected by the ownership/director, as those in a position as important as this should always be. When I lost a very close family member this year, I was having a very difficult time. Jamie, the owner, along with all of her wonderful teachers presented me with a thoughtful and beautifully written card, signed with a special note from everyone we have come to know and love there. It may seem like a small gesture to some but for me this was incredibly moving and made a really big difference in my mentality during a very difficult time that this group of individuals took the time to do this for me unexpectedly. This is something I would expect from family and very close friends, and that is what everyone at Little Leap is to us, part of our family.
