My toddler has been attending Little Sunshine’s in home daycare since June 2023, he started at 15 months and we are loving it. He is like family there, and I think he feels that way as well. He is always happy to arrive, and never ready to leave, which is fine with me because I get some good chatting time with the “daycare mom” Caressa. She is a very confident and structured mom, which to me is very important for making my child feel safe and comfortable and know his boundaries. I feel 100% comfort in knowing she will have confidence in any situation including choking while eating, I trust her to stay calm and help my child successfully. She also provides all meals and snacks while in her care, which include fruits and vegetables with every meal. She even accommodates my child’s Lactose free milk and doesn’t mind keeping it in her refrigerator special for him. The daycare is very clean, I see her washing everything daily and there is always a nice clean smell when I walk in (usually from some floor cleaner, or she was washing walls again). The play area for the kids is always evolving and she is always adding and subtracting to keep things interesting, my son particularly loves the basketball hoop! They spend lots of time outside when the weather is good, the yard is all fenced in and she has created a safe space for the kids to play on the many outdoor activities she has invested in. My favorite part about this daycare is the good hearted, patient, caring, wonderful person running it. I trust her 100% with the most important person in the world to me, we are very lucky to have found her!
Mandi SlivkaJan 11, 2024Best in-home daycare! The babysitter/teacher is nice, understanding, relatable, and always takes a couple minutes for you when dropping off and picking up. My son always has a good day/experience here. My son has adhd which can be challenging. Miss Caressa has never once complained and makes my child feel normal and loved, which is the best gift a caregiver can give! There is also food provided which is so helpful. All around great daycare!
