Loving Neighbors Preschool

My son started attending Loving Neighbors Preschool just over a year ago, and I have truly felt overwhelmed with gratitude every single day since. As a new parent, there’s no greater comfort than knowing my child is in safe, loving hands. My son started in the Little Lambs room at three months old, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ms. Robin and all of the staff and volunteers who care for the babies. Every day I received detailed updates, both through their app and in person, about how he was doing, and we regularly brought home adorable little art projects that I’ll cherish forever. When it was time for him to move up to the Turtle Doves room, the staff made the transition so smooth; I was so impressed by how easy this change was on my little one! Ms. Tonique and all of the Turtle Dove teachers are amazing. They know my son so well that they notice right away when he’s trying something new or not feeling his best. Their attentiveness and warmth mean so much to me, and clearly makes my son feel comfortable to play, explore, be silly, and get a few extra hugs when he needs it. It’s clear that this incredible team is well supported by Northern Lakes Community Church, which houses the daycare, and well led by the wonderful Ms. Angie, whose leadership shines through in every aspect of LNP. I love their emphasis on healthy living, from the snack basket and new reading and veggie superhero programs, to their thoughtful play areas that encourage both gross and fine motor development, to their incorporation of nature into activities. The group learning activities are always meaningful and fun, including raising a caterpillar into a butterfly and learning about fire safety with a fire truck visit. I could go on and on, but it really comes down to this: my son is learning and growing in an environment that is safe, fun, and full of love. Loving Neighbors Preschool is everything I could hope for in a daycare facility!

Cannot express how amazing it was to find LNP for our daughter. We just moved to TC over the summer and as parents who work with littles will find, it is HARD to find quality affordable care within a few short months of the school year starting. We struggled to find something and then LNP reached out letting us know they had openings for our baby. We toured the facility and instantly knew this was the perfect place. Just several short weeks in and we feel 100% this was the right choice. We love the staff, shout out the Angie and Miss Olivia for being the best support to our family. Our daughter (3 years old) is THRIVING and learning so much from their wonderful curriculum and care. We love LNP!

As an owner of a large service based construction business in Traverse City I must say Loving Neighbors does a fantastic job! The organizational processes are phenomenal from the outside looking in. My only complaint would be we couldn't get our little girl in sooner. Her progression and development has been noticeable weekly which allows me a lot more time playing and having fun/bonding at home. They spend a lot of time and energy ensuring they are state compliant, listening to any and all concerns adjusting on the fly, keeping you updated and most importantly smiling day in and day out (even at 7am). What a great experience at a very fair price. Well worth the wait. They have helped us with schedule changes several times to meet our needs and I have nothing but appreciation for them all for caring about our daughter as much as we do.

We feel so incredibly blessed to have our son attend Loving Neighbors Preschool! We have been so amazed with the love,care, and sincerity that the teachers have for their little ones! Knowing that he is having a fun-filled day while learning makes us so happy. We greatly enjoy the daily updates, the weekly emails, and the pictures! We appreciate the pride that Loving Neighbors takes in wanting to provide a fabulous faith filled and nurturing environment for all the children. We are so happy!!

We started sending our toddler to Loving Neighbors shortly after they opened their doors this past fall. We’ve been beyond pleased with the staff, volunteers, facility and most importantly, our child’s growth and development since he started going there. He’s actually excited to walk through the doors at drop off in the morning. He adores his lead teacher, Grace, and all the assistants. It’s clear the staff at LNP truly care about fostering an environment of learning, exploration, fun and kindness. Communication and daily pictures are offered via the Brightwell app and that is super helpful if I’m wondering how my little one is doing during the day. Grace sends out a weekly recap where we have a chance to read what our little one has been focusing on this week. If there is an issue, staff communicate quickly and compassionately, and often times already have suggestions on what would be helpful for the child. It can be hard sending your child to daycare, but LNP definitely eases my worries when I know my child is being cared for so well. Highly recommend this center if you’re looking for care in the traverse city area.
