Montessori Center of Downriver

We are incredibly fortunate to have this Montessori downriver. Sending my kids to this school has been one of my best parenting decisions. Throughout the past 5 years, I have watched my children build their social skills and their education with confidence and ease. Mary and the entire team lead with love, yet patient structure that allows kids to move at a pace individualized to their needs. It has been wonderful watching the transformation their guidance provided my kids over the years. I could not recommend this school more highly.

So lucky to have found this place! Mary has been so communicative and understanding, and all the teachers are kind, caring, and great at keeping us informed. My older kids just finished the summer program and had a wonderful experience. My youngest will be continuing in the fall, and it gives us such peace of mind knowing we have a safe and nurturing place for our baby!

One of the most stressful decisions a parent can make is deciding where they are going to send their child/children to school. After visiting and touring this school, I did not second guess my decision to send my kiddo here! My son has made tremendous strides, all thanks to the wonderful staff! They are very communicative and reassuring. I never have to doubt my child’s safety and welfare because he is in great hands! Thank you for making our experience so wonderful! I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a fulfilling, educational experience for their littles!

beginning with the staff.. Mrs. Ashley - My sons teacher and Mrs. Melissa, my daughters teacher and they absolutely love both teachers. They have been a pleasure also on the parent end. Additionally, Elisabeth, Josie, Suzanne, even including April at the front desk and many others assisting/tending in the child needs, attention, and giving the kids great care and providing so many different activities and creative play time for the kids. As a very worried parent with placing my kids in others hands they put me at ease that my kids are in good hands and that they’re safe, comfortable and taken care of, and having fun and socializing with others their age.

I was a student of Mrs. Mary’s Montessori center of downriver 30+ years ago and sent my child here as well (who is now 9 years old). Staff acts as family, community oriented, and child focused.
