  • Plainfield Child Care has gone above and beyond for our family. Our son needs some extra care, and the staff have been nothing short of incredible, understanding, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making things work for us. The workers are wonderfully friendly while remaining true professionals who really understand how kids tick. The directors are the same: attentive, communicative, and willing to meet with us to make sure our son is not just cared for but truly thriving. We were honestly ready to give up on daycares altogether until we found this place. It completely changed our perspective, and we couldn't recommend it more highly.

  • Warning to parents: I would not recommend this daycare due to serious concerns regarding safety, supervision, and staffing stability. There was extremely high staff turnover — my infant had a new teacher almost weekly, which made it impossible to establish consistency or trust in his care. One of the most concerning incidents occurred when staff left my child unattended while he was still learning to sit independently, resulting in him falling over and hitting his head on a bouncer. Proper supervision and basic safety precautions were clearly lacking. On multiple occasions at pickup, I observed my child visibly distressed and crying while staff stood across the room chatting and ignoring him rather than comforting or attending to his needs. Additionally, the owner remained largely absent, hiding in her office and never once introducing herself or acknowledging our family. Security procedures also appeared very concerning. When other family members picked up my child, staff never asked for identification or verified who they were. It often seemed as though no one was monitoring who entered or exited the building. Overall, our experience left us deeply uncomfortable with the level of care, supervision, communication, and security provided.

  • Staff lack on response time on issues and communication. My baby started breaking out of rashes there on his face for some reason in the infant room now that I don’t take him there rash’s are completely gone. A staff member said she also was breaking out on rashes there and showed me her arms. Some other things I disliked there were staff were constantly coming and leaving and seen my baby left crying a few times and looked like he was crying for a long time and staff not doing anything like just simply giving a pacifier or toy to calm him down. When babies were all calmed down. Most staff there are just there for pay not because they’re passionate about what they do. I also got to witness some babies hurting themselves hitting their heads etc and I’m sure parents weren’t even notified about that. At first everything seemed 5 star reason why I originally gave it a 5 star until I started seen things. I also found out after I stopped taking my baby there a staff member had pneumonia while taking care of infants and never was notified about that! There are some good employees I got to witness there that should be in the infant room but very few are patient and shouldn’t be in the infant room in my opinion.

  • We absolutely love Plainfield child care! When I first took my tour one of the directors stopped to ask a teacher how a child was doing and offered support. The fact that the director was involved and caring was already a big change from our last center. She also talked about ways she helped a parent out and a bond she had with one of the kids and that’s why they were so comfortable with her. She definitely goes above and beyond. The teachers have had great communication, send a lot of pictures throughout the day, and have been so patient with me and my kids. I also love that they do so many activities. My daughter is constantly doing sensory play, bringing home tons of crafts, and already got to experience a petting zoo and a foam party at the center. The staff really seems to care about my kids and this has been our best childcare experience yet. My children are ages 3 and 1. We’ve been there about 6 months and haven’t had an issue. So grateful we found them.

  • Plainfield Child Care has been a wonderful choice for our daughter! She loves the teachers and the friends that she has made. I’m always impressed with the structure, fun activities that they plan, and the meals that they make! She has looked forward to her daycare days since her first day!
