  • Our kids adore this school. The teachers are all amazing. Definitely feels like family. The kids love the farm animals!

  • My son started in the Preschool Pals right after his 3rd birthday. While the preschool pals class is 3-4 years old he was one of the youngest kids in the class. After a couple weeks there I began to get complaints from the teachers that he was being disruptive. The teachers began to log every single action he made, pointing out every bad behavior he had. I noticed a mood change in him and when I picked him up he would say he was a "bad boy". The consequences they used for bad behavior included sitting out during outside/play time and not allowing him to have a birthday treat brought in for another child's birthday(aka all the children got a cupcake but him). While I understand consequences are necessary, restricting physical activity is not an appropriate punishment, especially for very active children who need that release. The times used for "consequences" were also not appropriate. A simple google search will tell you consequences should be directly following the behavior and based on the child's age, definitely not 20 mins for a 3 year old. During my parent teacher conference the teacher reveled she didn't even know my son's age. Clearly the behavior of a 3 year old is not going to match that of a 4 year old and to hold them to the same expectations is unfair. A meeting was then scheduled with the director where they basically told me I had to pick him up at 1pm everyday before naptime to try and "correct the behavior". I still had to pay the full time amount however he only attended half a day. This was a huge inconvenience as I work full-time and I needed full-time care for my child. I reached out to his doctor because I did not want to be that naive parent. My son then had an appointment with a pediatric psychiatrist who said his behavior was perfectly normal for his age. They in fact recommended I switched schools as it wasn't a good environment for my child to be in. I know there are many positive reviews for this school however if you child isn't a perfect angel be prepared. Perhaps the teachers need more training on how to handle different types of children.

  • Both of our kids went here and both had great experiences! The teachers care, the owners care, and it was always a positive atmosphere!

  • My son has been attending this school for almost a year now. We absolutely love it! We toured 9 area preschools and this was our top choice. The facility is well maintained and large. The teachers are caring and patient. They basically potty-trained my child and have improved his social and sharing skills so much! Their pricing is a deal for everything they provide: up to almost 12 hours of care, breakfast, lunch, snacks, outdoor play, indoor play and trips to the farm.

  • My grandson is in the kindergarten class at Real Life Nursery School. He has had a wonderful experience. He has made tremendous gains emotionally, socially and academically. The teachers are amazing; so caring and involved in helping each child reach their full potential. I highly recommend this school!

  • I have had two children attend this school, and both have absolutely loved it. My youngest is currently in the pre-K classroom, and despite being one of the youngest in the classroom, she is more than ready for kindergarten! The teachers are knowledgeable, caring, and genuinely love the children. The administrative staff is helpful and polite. The curriculum focuses not only on academic skills, but on moral character development as well. I cannot imagine a more nurturing, loving preschool for my daughter. The previous comment about class size is untrue. The school abides by state requirements for teacher to child ratio. Lunch is provided daily, and children have ample time for crafts, music class, playground time, and visits to the farm. I wish I could quit my job and go back to preschool! I will be sad when it is time for kindergarten!
