Spanish for Toddlers

Both of my daughters attended this daycare for pre-K and daycare, and unfortunately our overall experience was awful. For years, we have been battling with the owner to get back our deposit money and other funds owed to us-with no resolution. The most frustrating part is that she has repeatedly claimed she mailed a repayment check or made promises, but nothing has ever been returned. At this point, we are considering small claims court. Having to deal with financial dishonesty and constant excuses completely kills any trust you’d want in a daycare. On top of that, my eldest children struggled socially. Because of her starting at 4 years old and having very little English-speaking staff, she felt isolated and almost bullied when she couldn’t understand or communicate, and there wasn’t support to bridge that language gap. My younger daughter contracted molluscum from the infant room, resulting in a painful, seven-month ordeal with lesions across her back and diaper line after only two months of attendance. Finally, the administration, specifically Maria, was consistently dismissive, disrespectful of our time, and quick to make excuses for withheld funds and poor communication. Bottom line: avoid this place. Between the financial battles, health concerns, and unprofessional administration, our family is still dealing with the repercussions of choosing this daycare.

I had been considering a language immersion for my toddler during covid and found Spanish for Toddlers. My son is now in Kindergarten and we have sought out more Spanish speaking classes because he has so much love of the language. My daughter has been here since she was 14 weeks old and she loves her teachers (and I’m pretty sure they love her too). Both of my kids are thriving and I feel so lucky to be part of this community. I will recommend them to anyone who will listen.

Our son attended from pre-school through Kindergarten. This place was everything we hoped it would be and more. We are truly grateful for everything that SFT has done for our family. What an amazing place for your child to learn and grow!

We LOVE Spanish For Toddlers! Both my daughters have been there for the past 2 years and we have had nothing but the best care and experience. We were so lucky to find this gem when we moved here from Chicago. And an added bonus is that our closest friends are the families from SFT!
