  • Stepping out on Faith is a true gem. The owner, Mrs. Neil and the staff are truly amazing. She is all about educating your child, providing a safe environment, making learning fun, and creating a reliable village. If you want your child to go to school with a well built foundation and receive high-quality care…this is the place for you.

  • I normally do not leave reviews, but my experience with Stepping Out on Faith was extremely disappointing. Before scheduling a tour, I specifically asked if they had availability for 3-year-olds because I needed care by June 1st. I was told yes and encouraged to come in for a tour. They also requested that I bring my son with me. The tour time THEY selected happened to fall during my son’s usual nap time, so naturally he was tired and more playful than usual — which is completely normal for a 3-year-old. Instead of showing patience or understanding, the director gave both me and my son strange looks and even asked, “Is he always like this?” in a very judgmental tone. As a parent, that immediately made me uncomfortable. I expressed clear interest in enrolling him, yet no one discussed registration or mentioned any waitlist at all. The next day, when I called back to move forward, I was suddenly told there was a “very long waitlist” and that my son could simply be added to it. This directly contradicted everything I was told before, especially after I clearly explained that I needed him to start by June 1st and was assured that would not be a problem. What makes this even worse is that after the tour, I could no longer reach the director directly. A man now answers the phone, refuses to let me speak with her, and dismissively repeats that the waitlist is long. The entire situation felt dishonest and unprofessional. I cannot help but feel this center judges children during tours instead of understanding that toddlers have moods, schedules, and normal behavior. If a daycare lacks patience and understanding for a tired 3-year-old, that is very concerning. As a single mother simply trying to find the best environment for my child, this experience was upsetting and discouraging. The woman answering the phone was also consistently rude. I will not be enrolling my child here, and I strongly encourage other parents to pay close attention during their interactions with this center.

  • My daughter came here from the age of 2 to 5 years old. She’s now in kindergarten. Her 1st report was a reflection of Steppin Out On Faith dedication and commitment to making sure children get a good head-start on their academic journey. She received above average in 5 subjects and at grade level in 2 subjects. I definitely want to thank Mrs Neal and Steppin Out On Faith Learning Center for everything they did. They love our children as if they were their own. I encourage you to your child here 🩷🙏🏾

  • Sent both of my children here for 2 years until they graduated to preschool/kindergarten. Mrs. Neal, the owner, is great! My daughter had separation anxiety every morning and Mrs. Neal was there to help her every morning. They were prepared for traditional elementary school and all around a great program. One of the highlights was the Black History program they put on each year. Seeing young toddlers memorize speeches was amazing to me. I would recommend this school to all.
