The Children's Enrichment Center

We had heard amazing things from friends of our regarding this place and the website seems very accommodating and flexible from a standpoint of working with children and high needs, special needs, trauma backgrounds and just needing a little more love. Went in and met the owner Debbie and then shortly after she reassured us our kids would be taken care of. We sadly pulled our third kid from the daycare after she had sent me a message saying our two special needs kids couldn’t come back to after school care because the aide I was paying extra for couldn’t handle their behaviors. This was after 1 hour of them being in care and their first day. I’m extremely saddened to know this didn’t work out for our boys and I do hope in the future they are better able to accommodate special needs kiddos and understand how being trauma informed can benefit and help children to thrive! From a flexibility standpoint if you are wanting to send your kiddos here as a break because you are a SAH parent this would work otherwise it’s not feasible as we had been told we had to drop off and pick up at certain times (not business hours) and you’re not able to come in past a certain time if you had an appt in the AM.

We have sent our daughter to TCEC for the past two years. She loves her teachers and all the friends she has made! Debbie and Danielle do an amazing job supporting their teachers. It speaks volumes to know the people at their facility have been with her for years. We are blessed to have such a high-quality center in our community.

My 4 year old loves going here & I feel at ease each day that she is there while I am at work. She is in the preschool room and the structure & learning opportunities that they provide (especially so close to my daughter starting Kindergarten) is amazing. The staff is caring & my daughter comes home happy every single day. 😊

This is the first daycare we have used. Being a first timer, it’s a bit nerve wracking to send your babies off with other people. I am so happy with the care, kindness, and love that the Childrens enrichment center offers. My kids have thrived here, they get love and attention when they are having a particularly off day. I appreciate that females and males are on the staff, especially as one of my kids is especially hesitant around males. This warm, loving environment is wonderful for my kids and makes me as a parent feel calm and secure in knowing my kids are taken care of.

Debbie and Danielle, and their wonderful staff have been caring for my two children for over 5 years. I feel so blessed to have found a place where the environment is like a second home for my children. The level of caring for each individual child and their particular needs is truly remarkable and a unique find in the Haslett area. The staff are kind, caring, well-trained and wholly engaged every day. One of my children is non-verbal autistic and they are the only ones I would trust caring for him. Debbie and Danielle and their staff have never hesitated to go above and beyond to assist when the need arises. If you are looking for a place where you can feel confident knowing your child will receive the best of care while they are away from you, give them a call. You'll be glad you did.
