Not a good fit for an active child. My son was 2.5 when he started at Cubhouse and was placed in the preschool program, which I questioned. Although the preschool area appeared spacious during our tour, we were later informed that due to low enrollment it would be moved to a small side classroom. At his age, he was expected to complete worksheets and sit quietly with shelf activities. I have been told his pediatrician and new teacher that is not a developmentally appropriate expectation. He began talking at home about being sent to the office and being a bad kid. If he made it through a whole day, we received daily behavior poor behavior reports. Drop-offs were emotional. Children this young should enjoy school. We ultimately left, and he is now happy and thriving in a play-based program with plenty of play time. For the first time he is participating in class and is excited for school.
Jeannette StecherJan 8, 2026My son has been attending Cub House since he was 4 months old and he absolutely loves it here. I can tell when I drop him off and he lunges to be in his teacher’s arms. It is warm welcoming and every staff member (regardless of what classroom they are in), seems to know my son. Every morning we are greeted by cheerful staff that each say hi to him by name. His teachers do a great job of updating the app and keeping us informed on his day, including what he ate, how he’s feeling, bathroom time, and what activities he’s doing. They truly know my son and his habits and personality. The classroom always looks clean and my son is playing with new toys and doing new activities every day. They’ve even had an in school special guest multiple times this year (librarian and an occupational therapist to do movement activities). All staff members do a great job of responding to emails and messages (at all hours). We’ve had a great experience with billing and adjusting our bill timing/increments with the owner to accommodate our pay schedules. They also offer great out of school activities, like a zoo trip and orchard for you to get to know the staff and other parents. We’ll be taking advantage of the parents night out soon. The staff always give me a run down at pick up or drop off of what new toys he’s into or how he’s developing. Cub House is like family now and we’re so glad our son is here. I can’t say enough great things about it.
Annie QDec 2, 2025Even though we are new, I will sayIt is so nice there. The staff is really helpful and patient with my son They treat him really well there And the business is very clean I am so glad I made the decision to switch from my son’s other daycare.
Raymya CrimOct 29, 2025We’ve had such a positive experience at Cubhouse. From day one, the staff has been warm, professional, and incredibly friendly—it really does feel like family. The building is always clean and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care, and that kind of energy makes all the difference.
Jordan BrownApr 4, 2025If anyone knows of my oldest son Wyatt’s story (google Wyatt’s Law), finding a quality daycare I could trust for my new infant son was going to need to be able to show a high bar set. Not to mention I also now work in child welfare. Well, my baby has been at Cubhouse for almost 4 months now and I can definitely say they have set that bar high. My son lights up when I hand him off to his favorite daycare ladies. Big shout out to Miss Bre in the infant room who goes above and beyond. You can genuinely tell how much she loves/cares for our babies. Love all the pictures and videos on the app. And am so grateful they do a once a month parent night out so my husband and I can get a needed date night out together.
Erica Hammel McLaughlinFeb 22, 2025everyone there is so caring a friendly and I love that they organize parents' Night Out and social activities regularly so that families can get to know each other
