We enrolled our child at the Goddard School of Beverly Hills shortly after they opened in 2023, when he was almost 4 years old. We were initially impressed with the facilities and had heard positive things about the school. Unfortunately, our experience in the pre-K classroom was deeply disappointing. Our son became anxious about going to school, and at drop-off each morning, he would curl up alone in a chair until circle time began. During this time, he developed selective mutism — meaning he stopped speaking at school entirely — which had never happened before. We did not feel that our son received the support he needed to help him feel comfortable or engaged in the classroom. During progress meetings, we often felt the focus was placed on our son’s shortcomings rather than on finding ways to support him. Even now, at 6 years old, he still mentions being told he wasn’t participating, even though he was trying his hardest. One of the most difficult parts of our experience was our interaction with one of the owners. Whenever we brought up concerns about the classroom environment or how our son was adjusting, we felt our concerns were met with dismissiveness and defensiveness rather than collaboration. At one point, we were even told, “We’re not holding you hostage here.” Although we could have stayed for the free junior kindergarten program, we ultimately chose to move our son to a different daycare environment. After a year of therapy and a more supportive and compassionate pre-K experience, he overcame his selective mutism and is now thriving in kindergarten. I do want to note that the main on-site owner, the Director of Education, and the support teachers in the pre-K classroom were all kind and supportive. The lead teacher in the junior kindergarten classroom was also wonderful, although our son was not placed in her class.

Sara McClainMay 20, 2026We had friends who raved about Goddard of Beverly Hills and couldn’t believe our luck when we secured a spot for our baby. They have met and exceeded our expectations! Our child loves his teachers and has been thriving in his classroom. Matt and Kellie obviously put a lot of care into the building and staff. The administration is quick to answer questions and make any accommodations needed. Despite having full classrooms, the teachers do an amazing job of providing individualized care to children to meet them where they are at. We cannot recommend them enough!
Maisa TeffApr 21, 2026We have been a Goddard family for 3+ years and had both our kids there. The front desk staff , Jaycee & Constance have been so friendly and helpful. The owner, Matt is always available/on-site as well. They have made such a warm and positive environment for all the kids/families. Both of our kids have been in multiple classrooms, and every teacher they’ve had has been truly amazing. The staff prioritizes safety, and focuses on teaching meaningful, age‑appropriate skills. We couldn’t be happier with our experience. I can’t recommend this daycare highly enough — we’ve been genuinely happy with the teachers and the care our children have received

The teachers have prepared my son so well for Kindergarten. Both academically and in the area of social emotional regulation, my son improved significantly while attending Goddard. The staff and the teachers and the owners really care about students. They have been very accommodating to our family and they are always open to answering questions and discussing any potential issue. We highly recommend the Goddard School of Beverly Hills.
motownmayaAug 25, 2025My son has been with Goddard since they opened and is currently in the preschool room, which we love. The teachers are amazing and it is clear that they care about each child. Their ability to guide such an energetic group of kids is truly impressive. Ms. Sparkle, in particular, is always so warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. Over the past two years, we’ve been consistently impressed by the caliber of teachers and leadership at Goddard. It is clear that Matt and Kellie value not just education, but emotional growth, connection, and kindness. I also appreciate the level of communication with the directors and teachers. The building is secure and clean with ample indoor and outdoor space for the kiddos to learn and play.
