The Goddard School of Canton

I went here as a child when I was 4 years old back in 2014, I had terrible separation anxiety from my mother and would often cry when she dropped me off. The staff did not know how to deal with me so they would always tell me to go sit on a couch all by myself, which only made it worse. This is NOT a made up story! I really hope they fixed this issue and got better workers...

I am not one to leave a review just to leave it. My experience and that of my 19 month old have been exceptional with this school. My daughter joined at around 6 months and is now almost 20 months old. The teachers here are amazing and genuinely care for your child. She crawled and took her first steps here at this school and I know they cheered her on and were so proud of her when she hit those milestones, which made me so happy and filled my heart, even though I wasn't the first to see it. Her teachers in the infant classroom cared for her and all the other kids in the classroom and it showed. She has since moved up and I can say the same about her current teachers. They are all amazing and my daughter loves to go to school and see them and her little friends. I have nothing but great things to say about the owner, Trevor and his leadership team. Trevor genuinely cares about all the kids at his school and has always been available for all parents and is on site, everyday. His leadership team is a reflection of the care he puts into the school and they are also amazing and very warm and welcoming to parents and all the kids. I would definitely recommend this school to parents who are looking for a school that cares, and helps your children grow at each and every stage they are at. I received daily updates about my child and pictures as well, which really helped me as a momma. Definitely head in and take a tour if your still looking for a safe place for your kiddo or are wanting to make a change.

Giving The Goddard School a full 10/10! As a parent, nothing matters more than knowing your child is loved, safe, and thriving — and that’s exactly what this school provides. The teachers treat every child like their own, and the positive environment has helped my little one grow in confidence and curiosity. We’re so grateful for this amazing school!

The Goddard School of Canton is absolutely wonderful. They are amazing with children and truly care about each child’s growth and development. We have been extremely impressed with our child’s development since enrolling. The staff also provides great guidance and helpful advice on how to continue the learning experience at home, which makes a huge difference. We definitely recommend them to any family looking for a supportive and nurturing educational environment.

I have been so impressed with Ms. Samira. She is organized, patient, and inspiring. My son is more than thriving—he’s eager to learn, and this is largely due to the structure of her classroom and her impact as a teacher. Each week, there is a lesson plan that focuses on a letter, color, number, and shape. My son comes home excited to apply what he’s learning to our everyday home routine. Outside of academics, my son is supported in his own interests and play. He is encouraged to use his creativity and given the time to complete his art projects. It is simply the best feeling knowing that my child is cared for, loved, and supported—given grace and opportunities for independence—but most of all, building the foundation for a love of learning. I could not be more pleased or more grateful that Ms. Samira is part of our lives and contributing to my son’s early success.
