  • The Little Red Wagon Daycare has been such a blessing for our family. We can’t imagine our daughter going anywhere else, and we already dread the day she ages out. She’s been at LRWD since she was an infant and is now 2½ years old. She’s in her third classroom now and has continued to grow and thrive. She’s loved every one of her teachers, but we’re especially thankful for Ms. Bree, Ms. Brooklyn, and Ms. Isabel. They have loved our daughter like she’s one of their own and the impact they’ve had on her is something we’ll always be grateful for. The teachers are patient, kind, and genuinely love what they do, and it shows every single day. Our daughter absolutely loves them and talks about them all the time at home. She gets excited to go to daycare every morning, and as parents, there’s nothing better than knowing your child is happy, safe, and loved while you’re at work. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing she’s surrounded by people who truly care about her. Communication has always been amazing. Whether it’s a boo-boo, a cough, a potty accident, or just little updates throughout the day, we’re always kept in the loop. We also get so many pictures, and as a working mom, those little snapshots of her day mean the world to me. The director is one of the things that makes Little Red Wagon so special. She is incredibly kind, compassionate, approachable, and always willing to help. She genuinely cares about every child and family and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcomed, supported, and valued. You can tell she takes pride in creating a safe, loving, and positive environment for both the children and the staff. She is always willing to listen, communicate, and work with families. We are so grateful our daughter is at a daycare led by someone who is so invested in the well-being and happiness of every child. We’re so thankful to be part of the Little Red Wagon family. Choosing a daycare is such a big decision, and sending our daughter here has been one of the best choices we’ve made. We recommend Little Red Wagon to anyone looking for a place where their child will be loved, cared for, and encouraged every single day.

  • We couldn't be happier with our experience at the Little Red Wagon Daycare. From day one, it was clear that Connie (the owner) and the staff she employed truly cared about each individual child and their growth, happiness and well-being. I have had a child in the the Little Red Wagon Daycare every single year since 2014 to now (and sometimes 2 at a time). Each of my 4 girls speak/spoke fondly of all the memories and relationships they made with the staff. There is SO much I am thankful for from the Little Red Wagon - from the help teaching our kids how to spell and use the potty to all the fun crafts and wonderful experiences they each had. It takes a village to raise a kid and I couldn't me more thankful to be a part of the Little Red Wagon Family. We plan on our youngest staying there until it is time for elementary and it will be a sad day for us when she no longer goes there. If you are looking for a daycare that treats your child like family and consistently exceeds expectations, this is the place.

  • A few months ago a review was left for LRWD that I feel is not only completely inaccurate but also misleading. I would like to share my experience with the daycare, the teachers, and specifically the owner, Connie. I moved to MI with my 2 yo a little over a year ago, when looking for daycares, LRWD stood out to me for a multitude of reasons. I was skeptical of sending my son to a daycare center but after touring the facility with Connie and learning their beliefs, it was an easy choice. They use an app where I get regular updates on my child’s day, as well as so many adorable pictures of the kids playing and doing activities! It truly makes my day seeing his smiling face with friends throughout the day! It also takes away all of the anxiety I had sending my child to a new daycare. Connie is one of the kindest sincere people I know in Mount Pleasant! She also runs two very successful daycare locations, so obviously she can’t be in two places at once, but she is at the MP location 95% of the time I drop my son off! My son started in the 2-3 year old room with Ms Halaina and Ms Olivia, he absolutely ADORES them! He is now in the preschool class with Ms Annie and several other truly amazing teachers. My 3yo can recognize all of the colors, letters, and numbers, he can count to 40 completely by himself and 100 with a little bit of guidance, he can also write his name by himself! He regularly asks to go visit his previous teachers because of how amazing they are. We saw Ms Annie out in public, he shouted her name and ran to give her the biggest hugs! As far as the closure and cost allegations, those are just not true. In the time we have been going to LRWD I think I can count on one hand how many times they have closed. Most have been for dangerous weather, but one time due to sickness. I appreciate them closing when staff are sick instead of trying to operate understaffed. Connie is prioritizing the safety of her staff and the children. The cost of care at LRWD is very fair, as for the increased prices, it’s completely reasonable, especially for the cost of living for the staff and the overhead cost of running a business. There has been one policy change since we have been there, the communication surrounding it was great, the change seemed fair and necessary. I highly recommend LRWD to anyone looking for a safe place for their children. My child is thriving and loves going to school everyday!

  • I have had 3 children go through LRWD and my kids still love their teachers, including the owner. My 6yo still wants to go to the daycare to go pick up her younger brother so she can see her former teacher(s). I even contacted one of their previous employees to babysit my 2 youngest kids. It seems like the owner does a great job vetting those she hires, which is a relief for any parent. The application they use is great for updates on your child throughout the day and the owner communicates well if your child is experiencing unique difficulties in their room. Prices are commensurate for the area.

  • I recently read a review that I feel made some inaccurate claims, so I wanted to share my experience. We have a toddler who has been attending for almost a year, and I also have another child who previously attended two different corporate run daycares. Little Red Wagon is, by far, the better experience. My child is noticeably happier here than she was at a corporate daycare, and her teachers genuinely show that they care about her. While there have been occasional closures due to weather, power outages, or illness, which can be inconvenientI actually but I appreciate that the center prioritizes safety and proper staffing. I’ve seen other daycares keep classrooms open by running below proper staff to child ratios, and that’s when neglect can happen. I would much rather deal with an inconvenience than risk my child not getting the attention she deserves. The recent price increase seems reasonable to me, especially when compared to other daycare rates and how frequently they raise prices. Communication has always been excellent. I consistently receive quick responses from both the teachers and the owner whenever I have questions or concerns. I also really enjoy the daily pictures and updates, and I appreciate the faith based activities and materials sent home. Overall we enjoy having our little one attend Little Red Wagon
