I would not recommend this childcare facility to families looking for a professional, inclusive, and welcoming environment. The owner, Deana, has publicly shared posts and opinions on social media that I find extremely unprofessional and, in some cases, racist. Her social media presence gives me serious concerns about the values and environment families can expect. I have also observed what appears to be clear favoritism toward Caucasian families, which is especially concerning in a childcare setting where every child and family should be treated with equal respect and kindness. Parents deserve to feel confident that their children are in an environment that is safe, fair, respectful, and free from discrimination, and based on what I have seen, I would strongly encourage families to look carefully into these concerns before enrolling their children. This is unfortunately not the first time seeing her post things like this and would recommend looking into her social media before thinking about enrolling your child.

We came from another center we thought was great—until we found this loving place. The care, consistency, and joy at Wee Friends has helped our son truly thrive. His confidence, happiness, and social skills have grown so much, and the incredible teachers—many of whom have been here for years—are a big reason why. The staff is the heart of this place. Drop-offs are a breeze now; he’s excited to go every morning and feels so safe and loved. The center is always spotless, which gives us such peace of mind. The personal connection and open communication with the teachers make it feel like a true extension of our family. Our son talks about how much he loves his teachers—and we love them too. We’re so thankful to be part of the Wee Friends family.

The teachers are so caring, communicative, and really go above and beyond to ensure each child is happy and thriving. As a parent, I am so appreciative of the sweet arts and crafts, holiday celebrations, and communion/photos sent about the day. As an educator, I am impressed with the learning being done every day and am confident my daughter will be prepared for kindergarten from the social-emotional and academic experiences Wee Friends offers her. We are so thankful we found Wee Friends!
Shannon CookApr 11, 2025I sent both of my kids to Wee Friends up through pre-K. It was a fantastic experience both times and to be honest we are a little sad we’re leaving. However, the good news is that our kids have been extremely well prepared for kindergarten. They’ve been socialized well, learned a lot, and they absolutely love the staff. My kids were treated like family so much so that when my older son is in the car with me to pick up my daughter, he always wants to say hello to whoever he recognizes and talk to them. I highly recommend this daycare. It’s definitely a place you can feel good about dropping your kids off every day.
Kurt LiethenJan 17, 2025My daughter went to Pre-k at Wee Friends. Ms. Terri and the other teachers were amazing! They kept the class size small which was great. I loved their daily routine of circle time, daily reading, play time, role playing, and thematic learning. We had such a great experience and highly recommend them to other families with little ones.
