I loved this class!!! The water helped relieve the stress on my joints and was able to notice an improvement in flexibility only hips and knees after the first week. I would highly recommend this class to.anyone who has trouble with knees/hips and want to improve flexibility and balance!!! I am requesting the YMCA continue the aquatic yoga as a permanent class, I feel many people would be interested in attending on an ongoing basis.
GailJun 28, 2026We were visiting from out of town and decided to go there for hot tub use. Found the private changing rooms, which are nice to have, but they were dirty, i.e. dirty diapers on the floor, unflushed toilets, kids shoes all over. The hot tub had sand on the bottom and steps. Mentioned it to the staff and got the standard "thank you" reply.
LanceJun 19, 2026This was a wonderful way to experience the many options the YMCA offers to seniors to stay healthy, fit, and strong! Thanks for the opportunity! I plan to participate in a couple of these classes you offer. Again, thanks!
Audrey KnollenbergJun 7, 2026We visited this YMCA for the first time today. The staff was so friendly and helpful, even gave the kids high fives. There were private changing rooms for families which is always appreciated. The pool was a good temperature and was so fun for my 5-year-old and 1 year old and my husband and I. They also had scripture on the wall and I heard a couple of Christian songs which was very cool. We will be back!
sandra DeguiseppiApr 27, 2026It was fun to do step again after ~20yrs! It was a more advanced class, so for a first time after many years, a refresher program would have been more appropriate. It was a good workout!
Marie MertenMar 16, 2026I enjoy step classes and did them for years, about 12 years ago. I remembered most of the step calls. I did find that 45 minutes of a nonstop routine was pretty exhausting and I had to stop and take a short break a couple of times. I would like to see a step class added to the schedule. Probably not quite as intense.
