If you’re looking for a daycare, stop here. Anders Early Learning Center is the one. We’ve been with Anders since they opened, and after trying several other centers before that, I can say with complete confidence that nothing compares. Anders isn’t just childcare. It’s a place where kids are truly seen, known, and loved. The staff are warm, funny, incredibly caring, and deeply committed to each child. My kids felt safe, happy, and connected. The teachers aren’t just doing a job. They actually compete to be your kid’s favorite. That kind of energy is rare, and it creates such a positive environment. When we moved to Mankato, we had to leave Anders and enroll at a different center. The difference was immediate and painful. My three-year-old was labeled “aggressive” and sent home early multiple times each week. It was constant stress. Eventually, the other center gave us the boot. I called Kate at Anders and asked if she had a temporary spot while we looked for something closer. She didn’t hesitate. She said yes on the spot. The moment my son returned to Anders, the behavior issues disappeared. He didn’t get sent home. He wasn’t acting out. He was just… himself again. That’s what happens when a child feels safe, loved, and understood. Every single teacher at Anders is amazing. And I know that’s not by accident. Kate is incredibly thoughtful when it comes to hiring. She doesn’t fill positions just to fill them. Even when short-staffed, she refuses to lower the bar. She looks for people with the right personalities and values because she knows the environment depends on it. The building itself is clean, secure, and beautiful. And somehow, it’s still the most affordable option in the entire area. It’s the kind of place you don’t want to leave, and the kind of team you wish you could take with you. If you are lucky enough to get a spot at Anders, take it. You will not regret it. And if you do go, please be a smart aleck to Kate for me. I know she’s going to miss my sass once we’re back in Mankato. Ten out of ten. Best daycare around. Anders is not just a center. It’s a family. And we are so grateful to have been part of it.
