This center has been AMAZING for our two kiddos. Our daughter starting going there when she was 3 months. We have amazing experiences with all the teachers. They really take the time to get to know the parents and making sure the kiddos are learning. My daughter was finger painting, doing other arts and crafts, reading books, dancing/listening to music!! This was done since day 1 of being there! This is so important in her development. Our son started going when he was 2 1/2 and he loves it!! He loves his teachers and the other kids that go there. The center does conferences and seeing the improvements that our son has made has been heart warming. I know without a doubt he will be ready for kindergarten and that is from Creative Wonders. I highly recommend this center. The director Angela has always been responsive to our messages and has been very helpful. My son was recently diagnosed with asthma and she has made us feel at ease with him going to daycare. I cannot say enough good things about this place! Our kids have developed immensely and I know they will continue to learn!!
Jessica BeebeJul 9, 2021My son has been at Creative Wonders for over 2 years now and it is his home away from home. The staff there treats him with such kindness and he has learned so much while attending. The teachers are attentive and knowledgeable and structure the day in a way that he is ready and excited to go to "school" everyday! They are understanding to every family that walks through their door and have been there at times for my son and I when we had no one else to support us. I recommend them to everyone that I know that is looking for daycare because it is more then just a daycare, they are another family!
Elizabeth BudahlJul 8, 2021I am beyond grateful for Creative Wonders and the staff there. When I was pregnant with my son I had zero idea how to even begin the process of looking for the right child care. Everything was so so expensive and restrictive and being in a home was kind of a gamble. I was truly blessed to find Angela and Creative Wonders. From 6 weeks to now almost a year old they have worked with our son on development, art, social skills and more. They have truly taught my husband and I more about parenting than our doctors. They have worked with our changing schedules, jobs, a pandemic and are always willing to do so with a smile and genuine love for caring and TEACHING the children they care for. I recommend this Center whole heartedly! Thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts!! ❤️ Trisha, Randy and Mickey Ray.
Trisha KulczyckiJul 24, 2020We've had such a good experience at Creative Wonders Childcare in IGH. We have two kids who go there (4 years old and 18 months). Both receive excellent care and education. They always have fun themes planned that involve learning, creativity and even dress-up days that my 4 year old especially loves. The communication by the staff is excellent both in person and via the mobile app which is updated constantly so parents are always in the loop. A logistical bonus is that the hours have been very helpful for our family as many in-homes aren't open as early or as late.
Katie MarforiAug 14, 2019We sent our son here for about a year before removing him. This place has so many things wrong with it that I could not continue to leave my son everyday and have a peace of mind. Where do I begin, the owner does not respond to any emails no matter what they are unless you start complaining to staff. She lies about the daycare online. Apparently they do Friday night date nights where they watch kids for free?? I never saw that announcement anywhere except the website, along with many other inconsistent mixed messages posted online. My son never left his room in the year he was there, but he did have over 16 different caretakers that came and went who were never on the same page. We were told he would move to the toddler room when he hit 12 months but when we were there it was never once open, when we asked staff they told us there was no staff for that room and there was mold issues. Staff would get cut as kids left for home and teachers moved room to room so when you pick up your child you can't speak to anyone who was with your son the whole day, teachers would say I don't know how his day was I just got here. Charges are taken every two weeks and invoices are emailed to you every 4-6weeks and are so confusing. Angela the owner will tell you one thing and do another, denying ever telling you. There is no parental handbook or book of policies so you rely on her word when asking about procedures and she is extremely wishy washy. The staff would put in a two week notice and then immediately get fired. Meals are served from Lancer, one day they would have a hamburger and two days later the exact same meal wondering if they are reheating leftovers???. I know kids get sick at daycare but my son had 9 ear infections, two cases of pink eye, pneumonia, 2 cases of stomach flu and 3 cases of sever diaper rash where medicated cream was used. We have been at a new daycare for literally two days and will never ever go back. I believe I was overcharged for the last week my son was there but I cannot get a response or explanation from the owner, who knows if I will ever see that?? Don't take your kids there!
Abby MonsonFeb 6, 2019The directors talk a good talk at the beginning, but it is a really disorganized, negative environment. I would send emails and call the director about our concerns, but they would go unanswered or it would be blamed on the email system not working. There was high teacher turnover in our 4 months there. We never even knew the names to many of her teachers that came and went during that time. No one ever seemed to be on the same page. I can’t explain how many times my daughter was sick during that short period. Teachers were also constantly telling us our daughter was unhappy, she cries a lot, and is hard to keep content. They were constantly looking for reasons to have us keep her home. We have been at a new daycare for over a month and I can’t explain how amazing and peaceful our experience is now. Would not recommend sending your child to Creative Wonders.
