We haven't come in ages. Decided to bring the kids to the pool for the first time this season. Kelly rudeness at the front desk had us shocked. First we were asked why our kids didn't have their cards. (Everyone was linked in the app.) Then when we asked what the family changing room code was, Kelly sighed and rolled her eyes and let us know the code. And when we tried to ask another question, she interrupted and told us to have a good day. It was so bizarre, I walked back to see if there was a policy change or something about cards we didn't know. I asked if we had done something wrong. She interrupted again, told us to have a good night and my husband walked over. We chatted with the pool manager to see if we needed cards next time and we were told that wasn't policy and it made Kelly's behavior even more bizarre. We received a really kind apology, but I imagine others are being treated like this too. We chatted while we were sitting by the pool and it's likely time to cancel. This location has had a few issues over the years. But this was it for us. Lifetime, what a disappointment.
Kate-Madonna Hindes QuastJul 25, 2026There are newer & higher tier Lifetime Fitness gyms around that we have been to, but I feel like the Lakeville location is the best one in terms of equipment. They even have a pendulum squat machine which I’ve not seen elsewhere. I highly recommend.
Cory JenkinsJun 24, 2026My family loved going, but as a family of 6, we can’t justify paying over $600 a month. I wish they had different levels of membership since some of the amenities weren’t being used (tennis and pickleball).
Chad BellJun 5, 2026I have always been a big fan of lifetime but recently my experiences have caused me to cancel my membership and go elsewhere. During the recent remodel they got rid of most of the glute focused equipment including the hip thrust which is a time consuming movement to set up when there isn’t a machine dedicated to it, not to mention impossible to find all the equipment needed when it’s even semi busy. We also like to come at night and the environment at night is absolutely horrible and getting worse and worse all the time. There are groups and groups of young people who usually center in the basketball area (but also spill out to the rest of the club), that are needlessly loud. They’re arguing and yelling at each other and using the space to hang out, essentially pushing the rest of us out. I have seen a man get into the hot tub with only a towel on and nothing else. I have seen these groups in the hot tub areas and they’re being so loud it physically hurts my ears to be near them. I’m not an old person, I don’t mind a little noise, but it’s seriously excessive and it’s consistent. Every. Single. Day. I recently had the realization that being at lifetime makes me extremely uncomfortable and frustrated. So we canceled.
Tundra DipJan 4, 2026I’ve been a regular at this Life Time location, and unfortunately it has gone downhill significantly—especially in the evenings. Any time after about 7 PM, the gym is routinely overrun by large groups of unsupervised teenagers. They are loud, disruptive, and frequently horseplaying, taking over entire equipment areas and the basketball courts. Personal space is constantly invaded, equipment is left scattered or not wiped down, and basic gym etiquette is ignored. It makes it extremely difficult for paying adult members to work out safely or comfortably. What used to be a premium gym experience now feels chaotic and unmanaged. I strongly advise others to avoid this location in the evenings unless meaningful changes are made. Better enforcement, supervision, or age/time restrictions are badly needed. Until then, this is no longer the Life Time experience I’m paying for.
OzzyJan 2, 2026I loved going here to workout, lots of space and plenty of options. However the new arrangement in the upstairs workout zone is completely dysfunctional. The squat racks are in the middle of the floor, taking up more room than needed. The strength training machines are all squished to one area where you can breathe each other’s air!
