When our family daycare closed, we were nervous about transitioning our daughter to a daycare center. We toured several options, but LLA was the place where we felt the most comfortable from the start. We originally planned to stay only until she reached preschool age and could move somewhere we had been looking at closer to home; however, now that she’s approaching that age, we’ve decided to keep her right where she is. The staff is so friendly (literally everyone), her teachers are wonderful, and it’s clear they genuinely care about her. The amount she has learned over the past year has been incredible, and we’ve seen her confidence and social skills grow tremendously as she continues to come out of her shell. We also love the fun themed dress-up days, activities, and special events that make learning exciting and give the kids something to look forward to. We’re so grateful for the positive impact LLA has had on our daughter and would highly recommend it to other families.

My daughter has came to Lighthouse elk river location on 2 different occasions both experiences have been fantastic the 4 years we been here have been great the owner/employees are very easy to communicate/work things out with. There very flexible, affordable, building locked at all times, keep all kiddos engaged and busy with alot of activities. During the summer they have field trips, ice cream trucks, bounce houses, lots of outside time, and more!

I have a son in the infant room and it’s such a relief to have a place I trust care for my child. He loves his teachers and is in such a good mood whenever we pick him up. The directors and teachers do such a great job and I can tell they care about the children.

Our 3 year old has attended the last 6 months and we have seen MASS improvements in speech, sharing, counting and letters, etc. His main teacher along with the other staff have strong communication between morning to afternoon ensuring if something needed to be shared it is communicated to the parents. Our previous provider did not do that. Pricing is within reason or lower than other places as well. We receive messages, photographs and notifications throughout the app promptly. The staff takes pride in their work which shows through the children. Strongly encourage a tour if you need a new child care provider!

Our kids have been going to Lighthouse for about 3 years now and we've had a very positive experience. The teachers genuinely enjoy what they do and you can see the individualized connections they have with the kids. We have loved their app as well to be able to see pictures throughout the day and stay in tune with their lessons so we can reinforce at home.
