Listos Preschool & Childcare

We love Listos! Our daughter has been there for 2 years, and she loves it. I am happy to have found such a great school in Rochester.

We love Listos! Our daughter has been there for a year and I truly can't imagine sending her anywhere else. Listos staff are incredibly kind, joyful, responsive, loving and value the whole-child approach to learning. I love that she is learning to be open and accepting of people and culture and I've been amazingly surprised by her genuine interest in the Spanish language since starting there. As a passionate educator myself I'm thrilled by the practices Listos continually implements. It really is a wonderful place for children to be nurtured and grow. We could not be happier with our daughter's comfort, progress and interest in learning and play. Obviously, I'm a big fan. :)

Our grandson attends this preschool and daycare. I have found the staff to be very friendly and caring. I requested to be put on the mailing list for the classroom so I could keep up with the learning units. It was no problem and I really appreciate feeling like I am welcomed to be involved, even though I am not a parent of a student. I highly recommend this school!

As an educator (I taught Pre-K for 6 years and have been with Kindergarten for 2), and parent (my son has been attending since September), I am super impressed with all aspects of Listos Preschool and Childcare. The director, teachers, support staff, and board members do an awesome job. They make sure that the students are receiving the best social, personal, and academic education. The communication between parents/guardians and Listos is professional regarding concerns or recommendations. Listos will do what they can to address and accomodate concerns or recommendations, keeping in mind what is best for the children. I highly recommend Listos Preschool and Childcare to any parent/guardian who is looking for a bilingual preschool, and well rounded education for their son/daughter.

I found this school to be unprofessional the director is rude and basically called me a liar when I mentioned something her staff hadn't said and she claimed they would have told me. Very little experience is the impression i got Christina emailed me with important information on the weekend rather than talking to me to my face. Keeping children in separate rooms after other children have left just because they didn't rest in the way they thought was suitable. Christina then offered to refund half the registration fee because she thought i owed her but when it was proved i did not she basically said she would not give it back because technically it's not refundable....then why agree to do it??? Confidentiality doesn't exist here stopped in the hallways to talk about private matters. Constantly called to tell me how sad my daughter was but when she got a black eye i got no call at all till again i was stopped in the hallway by the director and told what had happened...this was our last day at Listo's. I would not recommend this place to anyone...I have 8 years experience in the early childhood education field and can not believe the way this place runs. We left after less than 2 weeks because of the horrible experience we had at this school.
