  • ⭐️⭐️☆☆☆ Honest Experience With Donation Drop-Off My nonprofit delivered a donation of 𝟔𝟓 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 to the Lil’ Sprouts Isanti location today! While I am grateful that the children will receive these gifts, I wanted to share my experience for transparency and hopeful improvement. Before arriving, I attempted to call several times but wasn’t able to reach anyone. When I arrived during business hours, there was no representative at the front desk, and I did not feel it was appropriate to enter the building without being greeted or checked in. When a parent approached the door, I kindly asked if he could please locate a staff member for me since I was there to deliver a donation. A teacher—who was incredibly kind and professional—welcomed me inside and went out of her way to find someone from leadership. Her warmth and willingness to help were truly appreciated. When the representative in charge arrived (I believe her name was Kara, though I am not certain of her exact role), she walked directly past me without acknowledgment. Only after the teacher repeated that I was there with a donation did she abruptly turn around—frazzled and in a noticeably irritated tone—and say, “How can I help you? What do you have?” 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝. she walked directly in front of me and passed me, and it was only at the second mention that I was there for a donation Did she finally make eye contact with me and acknowledge me. she seemed visibly frustrated to pause and speak with me in the midst of our conversation, we were interrupted multiple times As I attempted to introduced myself and explained the donation, she did not appear warm, appreciative, or welcoming. Instead, she seemed visibly frazzled. Once I mentioned the stockings I told her I had 65 and she said, shrugging her shoulders “will make that work“ was her response she quickly redirected her attention to another person, and I exited quietly feeling unsure, dismissed, and unwelcome. As someone who has previously served as an Assistant Director of Marketing and later as a Director in early childhood education, I understand how essential professionalism, hospitality, and gratitude are—especially when welcoming someone donating on behalf of children. Had this occurred in my own center, it would have required immediate coaching and leadership reflection. I want to be very clear: this review is 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟. There are many wonderful educators within those walls—some of whom I personally know and admire. My feedback is solely regarding the 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 interaction I experienced at the time of my donation. Leadership sets the tone for the entire environment, and this interaction did not reflect the warmth or professionalism I would expect in early childhood care. I remain hopeful that the children will enjoy their stockings this holiday season—though even that was not clearly communicated to me during the drop-off. The children are always the heart of our mission, and it is for them that we give joyfully.

  • I am so thankful for the 3+ years we had here. We are a foster family and have had 8 kids in this center. I have worked in multiple companies of childcare in the past. It is hard to impress me. This location blew my mind! Staff were welcoming if my children and supportive even during rough times. We are so thankful for our time here and definitely recommend!

  • Would NOT recommend. I really don’t even know where to start with how unprofessional this place is. The amount of attitude I was given from day one was crazy. It was my sons first day and they wouldn’t even give me an access code to the door because they didn’t have time…and the front office girl gave me attitude and said I have a class to take care of I dont have time for this. I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER! And dropping off my child in your care and you don’t have time?? Isn’t that your JOB?? Staff up…. Watched my child cry for over 10 minutes after drop off and no consoling. Just sat and cried. There is no compassion here. No urgency. And ZERO customer service. This place needs to be looked at by the state immediately. DO BETTER!!!
