Our daughter started at Little Garden in September 2025, and we are so happy with the experience! The teachers and staff are so kind, friendly, and caring! It is a real community of people supporting and raising up these children, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
Lexi RunnalsDec 12, 2025A wonderful nature based Montessori school. The kids really are outside in almost all weather (with appropriate gear) for 2-3+ hours per day. We have found it to be an immense benefit to our child’s development. There’s a huge outdoor space in the back with gardens, playground, open area, and a faerie forest. Lots of hands on learning and exploring are done. The staff are excellent and have created a welcoming and inclusive community. We’ve made friends (both adults and kid) and really enjoy our time here. There’s lots of extra activities and ways to get involved too if that’s your thing, but in a no-pressure sort of way. I was a little unsure about Montessori in general when we first checked it out, but after getting to know more about it, I think it really works for us. We were at a typical center before which was good, but our child is really thriving here. We’ve been here for two years now. 10/10 would recommend.
Andre Dupre KuiperDec 12, 2025We love Little Garden! Our daughter has attended Little Garden for more than a year and we couldn't be happier or more grateful to the leaders and staff. The teachers are highly experienced and there is low teacher turnover. Children are outside for several hours a day and get the balance of structure and free play. Music, movement, and creativity are part of their day. The Montessori method helps create independent learners. Little Garden is more then a school. It's a community where you can meet other parents, attend monthly events and feel part of something larger. We highly recommend it!
Liz WiggenDec 12, 2025My child has attended Little Garden for 2 years now. I specifically chose this preschool for the low staff turnover, the hours spent outside daily, and the Montessori philosophy (respecting the child, multi-age classroom, tactile materials and work, intrinsic motivation, etc) brilliantly combined with Nature school philosophy (the outdoors is where children should be! Helps with emotional and physical regulation, problem solving, unstructured exploration, physical/gross motor skills, promoting environmental stewardship, etc). No other local school to my knowledge has combined these two pedagogies/philosophies that are both so uniquely beneficial to children. I also appreciate that LG has an option for kindergarten programming. My child has learned so much in such a peaceful, warm, welcoming environment. She is learning letter sounds and starting to spell, along with math and life concepts, all of which are practiced and cognitively cemented with that "real life" open outdoor play. Thank you Little Garden for creating such an incredible environment for both staff and children.
Lilly BrickFeb 18, 2025We made the switch from a larger daycare center to Little Garden last fall and it was one of the best decisions we have made for our son! All the time spent outside exploring and really allowing "kids to be kids" is one of our favorite parts of Little Garden. The communication and collaboration with parents is phenomenal. Leah and Grace provide such a nurturing, caring, and loving environment for the kids and I am so grateful for them and Little Garden!
Krista DavisMar 22, 2024Super safe, reliable, and educational childcare! Kids are outside every day learning from nature and their amazing teachers.
