  • We found a home here. Our child needed a place that reflected his culture and community. Raising faith is important to us, and having our kiddo be a part of a place that affirms who he is and teaches him about so very much. Miss Marla is the most helpful director I've had, getting things done and doing it with kindness and respect is key. My kid is in pre-k right now and honestly the teacher is stellar. I hope she sees this and knows that we value everyday with her. His teachers in preschool were just as great. Five stars

  • My son is in the infant room and has been there for over 6 months. The staff are absolutely fantastic and truly care about the children. It is such a loving and warm environment. My son lights up when he sees the staff there. They also have lots of activities and crafts for the kids. I’m so thankful for the amazing staff there!

  • My son is in the infant room and has been there since he was 3 months and now he is 9 months. The staff are SO great and truly care about the children. Such a loving and warm environment. My son lights up when he sees the staff there. Plus I love that it is a Christian Child Care Center. They have lots of activities and crafts for the kids too. I’m so thankful for the amazing staff there!

  • I signed my children up for living word childcare center because I have always been apart of the church. My paternal grandparents are pastors and I wanted my children in a Christian like atmosphere. The first two weeks were great. Then I was told that my infant daughter couldn’t attend because their was only one staff and they were with the toddlers. So for almost 3 weeks my schedule changed because only my Toddler could attend. They found a new teacher and then my son began having issues with hitting and being aggressive. My infants formula intake was not being reflected on the app used and my sons lunch was their some days and others not. I had to deal with my children have constant rashes on their bottoms as if they were not being changed regularly and when changing their diapers upon getting home they still had fecal matter on their bottoms from last having a bm. Then there is a guy whims always cleaning and the day I finally said enough was enough. I entered to drop my children off and he was in the childcare center with one of the little girls hand in his. When he looked up and seen me and my fiancé he immediately walked out. He is not a licensed childcare provider he shouldn’t be around peoples children. I had a conversation with my toddler who then stated he was uncomfortable with that guy. I am sad this is the experience and then when reaching out to the center staff to discuss my concerns she tells me I can’t come at 9am no explanation or reasonings but then I tell her I have to still pick up all my Childrens belongings and she tells me to come at 9am but had just stated she was unavailable. During a previous conversation she was extremely nervous when I addressed concerns about my son beginning to hit people and being aggressive as in a way to defend himself against something. I wouldn’t recommend this childcare center to anyone. It’s is nothing like what is shown on their website.

  • I was hesitant to enroll my youngest because we’ve never done daycare but we absolutely love Marla, and strongly recommend living word childcare center !! She takes such good care of her. Potty training was a huge success that i didn’t think would happen so quickly!! Also, colors and counting and the structure in general we love!
