Mes Amis French School

This school is a real gem! Madam Rose is so sweet and her teachers are lovely. My children attend summer camp here and love it. Every week is a new theme and my kids never complained about going. We live in Brooklyn but if we lived in Minneapolis would highly consider this school full time for our children. Highly recommended the nurturing and fun filled summer camp experience! (Also while other camps left my kids exhausted and overstimulated at the end of the day, leaving a challenging night ahead for us parents, this camp left them more relaxed with the right amount of stimulation ).

"Wow!" I can hardly express how thrilled we are to be part of the Mes Amis French School family. In just a short time, this amazing place has not only exceeded our expectations but blown them right out of the water. When we initially enrolled our 3-year-old at Mes Amis, we anticipated a safe and nurturing daycare environment. However, what we've discovered is a nurturing haven that doubles as an incredible early education institution. You see, our little one comes home with homework - yes, homework! We're talking about a 3-year-old learning to write, eagerly embracing new challenges, and doing all the things we thought were reserved for pre-K and kindergarteners. It's a delight to witness the curiosity and excitement in our child's eyes as they share their daily experiences at Mes Amis. The teachers here do more than just teach; they genuinely care. The level of individual attention our child receives is astounding. If they need help with anything, the support goes above and beyond our wildest dreams. We were particularly touched by how the school coordinated with our child's speech therapist to ensure a seamless intervention. The dedication to each child's development is heartwarming. As parents, nothing warms our hearts more than seeing our little one flourish in such a nurturing and inspiring environment. And let's not forget the gift of a second language! Learning French at an early age opens doors to a world of opportunities. Our child is already excitedly babbling in French, and it's such a joy. Madame Rose, the Director of Mes Amis French School, is simply a force of nature. Her passion for early education and her dedication to each child's growth and development is nothing short of inspirational. We can't sing her praises enough. So here's our plea to anyone seeking the perfect place for their child to learn, grow, and thrive: send them to Mes Amis French School. It's one of the best decisions we've ever made as parents, and we can't wait to enroll our second child. My children had an absolutely fantastic time at Mes Amis French School's summer camp, and the memories they created there are still a lively topic of conversation at home. The camp's diverse and multicultural environment, along with the passionate and dedicated teachers, made this experience truly remarkable. It was heartwarming to hear that some of the teachers were once preschoolers at Mes Amis themselves. My 5yo attended Mes Amis’s Summer Camp this year which started at a very critical moment of our lives: the arrival of our new baby. Mes Amis Community was absolutely amazing, caring, and helpful, making him and us feel very confident and most importantly - happy - about our choice. We’ll never be able to express our gratitude for such a wonderful team. The school has great facilities and the program was perfect - my son finished the camp already saying some words in French and singing some cute songs!

It is a delight to write this glowing review of Mes Amis French School. My son was able to attend two weeks of Mes Amis summer camp this past July/August. We had an absolutely outstanding experience. Madame Rose and her meticulously selected team of French-speaking educators are incredible. My son's days were spent doing thoughtful and creative projects and activities. Several visits from local community members (a policeman, a firewoman and even a local petting zoo!) made his two weeks even more special. He came home singing songs in French, using the language even more at home (I speak to him and his toddler aged sister only in French but they respond often in English--as is the case with many children raised in a language that is other than the primary language of their surrounding culture). Thanks to Mes Amis, he was eager to use the French he knows more frequently and still speaks about Mme Rose and her team. We cannot wait to come back next summer (with my daughter able to participate as well since she will be old enough) and enjoy another few weeks at Mes Amis French School. My only regret is that we live too far from the school to be able to attend year round. It is a GEM of a program -- run, don't walk, to sign up your kiddos!
