  • The only reason this review is getting an extra star is because Ms. Ali and Ms. Elena truly went above and beyond for my son. My son is my first and only child so I was terrified to choose a daycare. When I found new creations it seemed perfect. My son was only at new creations for around 9 months (March 2024-Nov 2025) I pulled him out for various reasons that are honestly disgusting and borderline neglect to me. I used to work in childcare so I definitely pick up on things not everybody would. When he very first started at NC the director just randomly left, I think the parents got a notice over the weekend and she was gone on Monday, which was concerning to me. There wasn’t any noticeable incidents while he was in infants other than picking him up with a soiled diaper a few times. When he moved to waddlers and started joining with toddlers at the end of the day is when I started noticing issues. He would scream cry every single day at drop off (which CAN be normal but I’m starting to think it wasn’t in our situation), there was poor communication with staff, and I always noticed a ratio problem. He was picked up with fecal residue in his private parts three times within a week, even after bringing it to the director. I picked him up with snot all over his nose and mouth pretty much every single day which led to his nose being raw, this was also brought up to teachers. I can’t even list how many times I seen crying kids including my son being ignored. There are definitely way more little things I just don’t feel are worth mentioning, but please think twice if you are thinking of sending your child/ren to NC. When I let the director know we were leaving NC she did not follow up with me or seem to care which was a huge red flag and made this transition easier on my end. Thanks for reading

  • My wife and I moved here to MN Fall of '24. We searched quite awhile for a viable, well thought out day care for our 2x kids. We landed on New Creations in Prior Lake because of their faith-based curriculum, safe environment and great teachers we've had for the last year. They've excelled throughout the year learning new skillsets, making great friends (parents too) and being loved by teachers. For what you're paying for, I'd look no further than here for the peace of mind and care for your kids learning and safety.

  • We moved here from out of state last year and are so glad we chose New Creations Prior Lake for our kiddos. The curriculum is faith-based, which we love, and our kids are learning SO much. Our 2 year old counts all the way up to 20 and knows hexagon shapes and “fiangles” 😂 Most of all, we love the teachers. You can tell that everyone genuinely cares about kids and their development 🥰

  • We have had our son enrolled since September 2021. He has moved up classrooms from waddlers up to pre-K. Our overall experience is the teachers are kind, the staff is attentive, the kids are well cared for, and it feels like a family atmosphere. We have enjoyed building relationships with the teachers and staff, and feel very comfortable with our son there.

  • Our family highly recommends New Creations to families in the area. Our two children have been attending shortly after the center opened and have loved every minute of it. The teachers have become part of our family. Not only do we trust them to keep our kiddos safe and well-loved, but our boys love going every day, have learned so much, and have met some of their best friends along the way! We, as parents, have too. The teachers go above and beyond to pull in extra circulars and in-house field trips (Mr. Leo, Paster Ric, Ms. Arianna, Magic shows, holiday fun, music programs etc). Our boys love the variety and sharing what they got to do with us at the dinner table every night. We also went through some growing pains with our 3 year old (who hasn't?) and we felt very comfortable talking with the leadership team about what we were going through. They were very responsive and we were able to come up with a plan together to improve the behaviors and big feelings we were all having. Our older son recently went to kindergarten and New Creations did a great job of ensuring he was ready and well prepared! The big transition to kindergarten has gone well, and I have to thank New Creations teachers for ensuring he was prepared academically. Thanks for taking such good care of our kiddos, NC Family!

  • We have been at New Creations for 18 months since moving to the area and absolutely love it. It feels like home for our three little boys. There is community we have found with other families, and the faith-based element of the program shows through when our kids come home talking about Pastor Ric and the stories they learned about their faith that day. I was skeptical that a center could instill these beliefs so early in our children but it shines through with all the staff members as well which is a huge contribution to leading by example for these kids. The building is still new (built in 2021), is kept clean, has awesome learning toys and resources and allows the kids time for “free play” too, which is where my kids are able to form bonds with others. The outside area is nicer than most centers as it has turf so that kids do not get “dirty” playing outside and it is easier to keep the center clean. They offer bike days and water days in the summer which our kids get so excited for and allows for more “real life” play with their friends! The cost is affordable, and we feel the price is actually a deal when you factor in the wonderful teachers, directors and admin staff, nice location, faith-based elements, amazing families and community, and in-house field trips and other special things they do for the kids. This is our third daycare center we have been at (due to COVID and moving), and we have seen everything from troubles with staffing, communications, and consistency. However, New Creations has had little to no turnover since we started 18 months ago (and most of it has been moving teachers between classrooms which is then fun for our siblings to “share” teachers), the communication has been timely, the updates throughout the day are the best we’ve ever seen (multiple pictures and updates on curriculum for the day), and as previously mentioned a comprehensive faith-based schedule that actually holds true week after week (regular updates weekly about the curriculum and menu for the week and then we see the pictures and hear the stories to know that somehow this is actually happening during the day, which feels like no small feat when dealing with infants and toddlers). One of our sons has an extreme allergy and the staff have made us feel so comfortable about the plan, protocols in place, appropriate forms filled out, and not only do his teachers and the admins know about it, but we found out it was discussed at the recent teacher meeting and all teachers at the school know about it too. The thoroughness as which they took the allergy was to make sure they are taking it seriously, but also doing it out of the care of our child and wanting to minimize the risk of any accident. We are so thankful for this. To address some of the negative reviews, there are things that will happen at all daycares: kids will get hurt (all of our kids have now been bit, one at each daycare center), kids will hurt or bite others (our two oldest have both bit or pushed at this and the last daycare - these are usually one-off events that rightsize in a few weeks and are age-appropriate as kids work through feelings and communication), kids will cry when they leave their parents (we have had kids that adjust easy sometimes and hard the next time and everything in between - it is often not a reflection of the center but something going on at home - a move, new baby, a tough day!, etc), kids will adjust, mistakes will happen (at our last daycare our child fell on a toy and had to get stitches and the teachers honestly weren’t sure what happened - that will HAPPEN - hopefully not often, but it will). The teachers at New Creations care about our kids more than I have ever seen, and take an interest in getting to know us. We have also taken an interest in getting to know them and their real stories and think of them as family and friends and the people shaping our kids’ early years that they will hold with them forever! Thank you NC!
