Part of early childhood education is leading by example for young children learning manners. This location’s education consists of teaching ignorance. I refuse to send my child here any longer, to learn from ill mannered adults. I understand the pay is not great, but these adults signed up for these jobs. They should be vetted before hiring. Having even common sense manners should be mandatory. I don’t want my child picking up on disrespectful and disgusting, ill mannered adults. My wife and I work too hard to teach our child the exact opposite. Absolute failure.
Team NOC OrgAug 2, 2024I’ve been calling this location literally for months to inquire about openings, even left voicemails and nobody will call back even if it’s to say no we don’t.
Amber SmithJun 29, 2022We cannot say enough kind things about the teachers and staff at the New Hope YMCA. Our son has been there since he was 6-months old in March 2020. Because of the pandemic, his teachers are some of the only people he knows. They have given us such relief and provided some sanity for us during this tumultuous time. Plus they teach him so much more than we ever could. He is a vivacious little guy and that is due to their love and care as much as ours. We recently had a job change and will be relocating to another state. The staff have shown such kindness and love for our son it is heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. Heartbreaking to leave them and take him from his second family but wonderful to know how truly cared for he was. The YMCA is an excellent place to take your child. They will be well looked after and loved by the staff. Our new center will have enormous shoes to fill and I don't know how they will ever come close to the level of care and compassion the YMCA has given our family. Thank you so much to the childcare staff at the Y. From the bottom of our hearts we absolutely love you and will miss you all so much — The Blakely Family
